  1. Good question. Just asked Perplexity. ”Yes. The Buffalo Sabres have beaten the Seattle Kraken at least once; their first and (so far) only win was a 6–2 road victory in Seattle on March 18, 2024.[champsorchumps +2] Overall record Head-to-head, the Sabres are 1–7 against the Kraken in regular-season play, with the lone win coming in that March 18, 2024 game.” Ok. Let’s make it 2! Go Sabres!
  2. Great poll. I voted Other. Too many boneheaded decisions by Adams to choose any one as the worst. Declaring with great fanfare the playoffs were the goal a couple years ago and then failing to make the moves to achieve it just made it worse. Any other owner would have canned him, imo.
  3. Have an early morning appointment, so went to bed after the 2nd period. Just watched the final 20 minutes. Sabres went into Alamo mode with no attack. Left Lyon to fend for himself. Lyon was fantastic. Kept us in the game. Remarkably, Sabres didn’t give the game away in the final few minutes. Timmons is a liability on the ice. Turnover Machine. Seen enough of him. Two wins in a row, and on the road. Have two days to get ready for Seattle. Chance to extend the winning streak and finish the road trip even up 3-3. Would be huge after losing the first two. Expecting Zucker, Tuch, and Norris back in the lineup.
  4. Said it after he got hurt first game here. Norris is a bust. Adams gambled and lost. End the fantasy. Waive him.
  5. The point is, it’s in there, PerreaultForever, and it’s capable of busting out at any time. It’s a big reason so many of us watch as many games as we can despite the many seasons of disappointment. It is really something to enjoy when it happens.
  6. This after years of Adams drafting for “character.” As @PerreaultForever posted ”Have you notnoticed how much complaining Ruff does? How Sabres players constantly look to refs for calls. Everyone complaining and looking for someone else to fix theproblem. Good teams just get out there and WORK.” Yes, they do Last night when the Sabres gave up the tying goal with just seconds left, they didn’t complain. They didn’t hang their heads. They collected themselves. They took possession in OT and never lost it. They appeared determined to win. Tuch in particular looked like he had something to prove. I think that is character. We need to see more of that team. Preferably in regulation.
  7. Until we start winning regularly, we won’t get any respect from the Referees. Ruff knows that. He’s just acting out. It has no effect.
  8. We played well until the dreaded last minute of regulation. Took control in OT Never gave up possession. Team on a mission. Tuch was a man on a mission Bravo Sabres. That’s it for me. Goodnight Catch you all Thursday.
  9. Win tonight makes up for last night.
