He seems to start slow, but once the game gets going, he is unreal. That's the only problem I see. Actually, the whole team starts slow and that's a problem.

Lol, they just took a SOG from the Amerks. So they have 2 goals on 11 shots after 2 periods. If this was a regular season game, I'd be sound asleep.

15 shots. First one was inconclusive that it was even a goal. Was called a goal on the ice so it stood. 2nd, he was interfered with, but the Crunch player was pushed into him by an Amerk. Third was just a 2 on 1 that he had no chance on. Amerks have 2 goals on 12 shots. Not a very offensive game so far.

Crowd with thunderous "Levi" chants after every good save.

These refs are terrible. #48 has done numerous Amerks games I've been to, and he has sucked every single time. And as I type that, ref #46 calls slashing on Syracuse.

In front of 10,000 fans no less.

Both goalies need regular starts to become their best. You can't flip flop guys. UPL got much better with a regular starting rotation the back end of last year. Levi has also benefitted immensely with getting regular starts in Rochester. This is something I think Adams is totally clueless about. Hopefully Lindy has a huge say in how they approach the situation next year. UPL should be named #1 for the Sabres and Levi #1 for the Amerks. Only bring Devon up in emergency situations.

Somehow I never posted in this thread. Just turned 56 in April. And they say your brain stops maturing when you start drinking and using drugs beyond what is considered "social" use. So basically, I still act around 14. Many of my posts will prove that. 😉

Panthers need to start game 2 the way they finished game 1. All those ex Sabres players looked like ex Sabres players tonight. Florida could really use Sam Bennett back.

As much as I hate the Bruins, I would enjoy watching a Rangers/Bruins series. NY is one team that would out-physical Boston pretty easily IMO. Rangers are a big nasty team. I also hate the Hurricanes quite a bit too.

They need to pick up their physical play in game 2. They've been sleepwalking most of the night.

Florida may not beat Swayman again and Ullmark may never play another game for the Bruins. The kid looks unbeatable right now.

Also, if you do happen to make the trip, get there as early as possible. The traffic in downtown Roch gets horrible during these games.

If you're looking for just one seat you might be OK, but it's def gonna basically be a sellout.
