  1. I agree. Trying to convince Nash to come here and what Columbus would demand in return would not be an easy task. Although I wouldn't mind seeing Buffalo trade half the team to bring Nash in. On another note, listening to the Mario Williams press conference, this guy is a total class act. I'm sure the money was the biggest bargaining tool, but he seems genuinely happy with the whole city as a whole. Maybe he can show Brad Marchand around some time.
  2. Well then I don't see that happening until next season after he has a full training camp with the Sabres. He has been going backwards since he arrived here.
  3. Rick Nash will most likely be the biggest name to change teams in the offseason, and although Buffalo isn't on his list of teams he wants to play for, that could all change with the right offer. Did anyone actually think MW would come to Buffalo? Rick Nash in a Sabres uniform would be sweet, but highly unlikely. We can dream though can't we? I like this statement from a NE journalist. "The Patriots' competition in the AFC East has been busy this offseason, with the Bills' addition of Williams and the Dolphins' high-profile courtship of quarterback Peyton Manning (as well as a nice backup plan with Matt Flynn). But for the time being, Tom Brady and company should do whatever they can over the next few months to keep their minds off their two meetings with the Bills in 2012."
  4. Not a dream for us, but a nightmare for Tom Brady. This guy is a freak of nature.
  5. The best thing that could happen for Hodgson would be for the Sabres to miss the playoffs and he gets sent down to the Amerks for the playoffs. He can use all the games he can get in the Sabres system right now.
  6. This should hopefully force T Pegs hand into going after a top tier playmaker this off season. He should wanna bring the same excitement to the Sabres fans, franchise and the city of Buffalo that this Bills signing is bringing. Buffalo is the armpit of the NFL no longer. I think that now shifts to KC
  7. I was one of those for the first few months, but one of my friends who lives in San Jose said I would find out real quick why they called him Errorhoff in SJ. So I jumped on him right away. He has been pretty damn good for the most part since the new year. I have no problem with him.
  8. Maybe they should bring him to Rochester then and show him St. John Fisher now because in that same Forbes poll or the 2011 poll, Rochester was rated the #1 city in the country to raise a family.
  9. And as it looks right now, we may still have that gaping hole at center even with Hodgson here. Although I am already looking forward to next season to see how CH does after a full training camp with this organization, because hopefully there will be many new faces here replacing all the slugs in the lineup now. I'm not giving up on him yet, but I'm definitely not sold on him yet either. Buffalo seems to have a way of stripping players of their talent when they get here.
  10. Are you saying that the Sabres gave up on the season when they traded for him and didn't care if they made a run at the playoffs? I hope that's not the case because I would hate to be a fan of a team that gives up before they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. It's bad enough I'm a Bills fan. True the NHL doesn't have that rule, but I do believe Ruff and Regier have that rule amongst themselves. I wonder if they have taken Foligno's balls yet.
  11. Was meant to be off DeLuccas post. I don't know how the hell I quoted myself, this laptop has a mind of it's own. What really pisses me off is that people keep saying to be patient with Hodgson, he is gonna be fine and will be a good player for a long time. Unfortunately the Sabres don't have the time to be patient, they are fighting for their playoff lives and needed him to be producing from the time he got here. Kind of like McGinn has for Colorado. He now has like 11 pts in 9 games with the Avs.
  12. Amen and I agree 1000%. I have no clue what anyone here sees in Leino. For what he is being paid he is a complete waste. Detroit is the best team in the league at judging talent and they let him go. That tells me something.
  13. If MW is here for 3 days and doesn't sign, something is f##ked up. SIGN THE STINKIN DEAL ALREADY!!!!
  14. I'd rather keep my distance for a few days  Mario Williams scheduled to leave Buffalo tonight. Hmmm
  15. I may have steak tonight, but no dice on the other half for me. The circus is in town if ya know what I mean......someone is riding the cotton pony.
  16. I can't get this damn song out of my head for some reason. I think there is a subliminal message in it somewhere :flirt: http://youtu.be/ZrffDM3hHk8
  17. I was hoping they would look at him before Meachem. I like it, he isn't that big but he is quick. Good point. At least someone here gets it. Try telling the truth about Fitzpasspicked over at TBD and you become the Anti-Christ.
  18. That shouldn't take too long. :P
  19. WTF!!! The Bills may as well move to Toronto, they will NEVER get any talent here. This really blows and I know I don't want to watch a team with half ass talent on it anymore.
  20. IT'S NOT A TOOMERRR!!! Don't forget, there is no nightlife in Buffalo either, per Willis McGayhee.
  21. That is not good news. I was watching NBC Sports Talk earlier and when the host asked Amani Toomer if he would play in Buffalo he said, "personally, no I wouldn't". F##k you Armani!!! He said he wouldn't play there because of the cold as he was trying to cover up the fact that he sounded like a ###### when he said he wouldn't play in Buffalo. That is the biggest horseshti excuse there is. Did Brett Favre care about the cold in GB? Did Montana whine about the weather in KC? These players are such primadonnas nowadays.
  22. Because he would immediately be the 2nd best WR on the Bills roster.
  23. Neither do I :flirt:
  24. Karlsson's development is progressing while Myers development is regressing. But you know what they say, regression is a part of progression. Lets hope that rings true for Myers.
  25. No brainer - Karlsson. If Karlsson were on the Sabres this year and had the same exact numbers he has now, how many more games could Buffalo have won? The Sabres would probably have a playoff spot all but locked up.
