    Oh boy....looks like Josh McClown will be the Bills next QB to battle with EJ. He was at the Sabres game last night...ugh!!! This really isn't cool. I would take Dirty Sanchez over this bum.

    I know, I hate these first games for guys after a trade. Myers and Stafford played better than normal in their first game with Winnipeg. I do like what I've heard so far.

    I had to listen to the first two periods on the radio, and the name I heard more than anyone was Bogosian. Has he really been that good? If what I've been hearing is true, I don't think I'll miss Myers anytime soon.

    If it happened to be Gretzky or Lemieux this happened too, then you would definitely see something done. NHL only cares about the star players. And that is sad to say.

    I have a Shiba-Inu. It's hard to get him back inside when I let him out, and he strugles getting around as the snow is over his head. He loves it out there though.

    Where in NH are you? My kids live in Nashua. -1 in Pittsford (Rochester) with a -29 windchill. Here is a picture out my front door early this morning during some serious lake snow.

    I do agree 100%. I think the NFL works much harder at trying to lower concussions than the NHL does. The way the NHL goes about disciplining dirty hits is a complete joke.

    Unfortunately concussions don't always come from dirty hits. Concussions are far too common in many sports and I don't know if they are something that can ever be eliminated. Poor bastard, 35 is way too young. RIP!

    Great post. I haven't weighed in on the trade, but I love it. Bogosian is not much of a drop off from Myers...if any at all. And Kane for Stafford is a straight up win for Buffalo. The only thing I didn't like was giving up Lemieux. I would have rather seen Murray try to keep Armia and Lemieux and thrown in Grigorenko instead. All in all, I thinks it's a win for Buffalo.

    This Richardson news is quite old. I always liked Nolan.....until the other night against Ottawa after Weber's non goal call. Nolan should have been going apeshit after that BS call. He didn't even flinch. He has lost any fire he may have had. He just doesn't seem to care anymore, even with the positive outlook this team has. Still not sure how I feel about Richardson as an NHL coach though. But I have faith in Murray, as he has been in the Senators organization.

    That's actually an amazing stat seeing the game scores. Always liked Stewart and hope he is part of the rebuild.

    Racism from Boston fans??? Say it ain't so. Not surprised by that part of the story at all. My ex in-laws are from Boston and I can say it's the same there now as it was 30 years ago. Remember just a few years ago when Joel Ward scored the game winning goal against the Bruins that knocked them out of the playoffs? The fans were destroying the guy on their message boards. Some things never change in that town.

    Exactly. To see NE in a goal line defensive formation....and then call a pass play that sends the WR right into that goal line defense??? That is complete stupidity by someone. I think Wilson screwed the pooch on that one by sticking with that pass in that defensive situation. That's like driving in rush hour traffic instead of changing to the carpool lane. Would seem like such an easy call to change out of. I wonder if Seattle had another play called Wilson could've switched to.

    I think it's cheaters always prosper? Sad thing about Brady and Belichick is how can anyone actually say how good they really are when so many questions abound about "cheating"? They have won four Superbowls now by an average of 3.5 pts per game. Unfortunately we will never know how much they really got away with. I just hope we kick the crap out of them twice next year. Oh yeah, and watching Brady jump for joy like a little girl was definitely pretty funny. My nephew and I definitely got a kick out of that.
