  1. That's who I figured it was. Either him or Ray Bourque.
  2. I don't know wtf they are feeding these goalies for Buffalo. Hackett looking solid already with 22 saves 27 mins into the game.
  3. Murray needs to send Irbe to Siberia for three weeks. If they didn't tell you he was playing, you would never know he was. You rarely hear his name called. Of course being on the bench for 55 mins a game doesn't help.
  4. Had the same problem here two years ago. Wasn't a major leak, but could see the water stains in the ceiling. There was a small section of rotted plywood under the shingles that had to be replaced. Ended up fixing that section and a few others that were starting to rot as well. Also re-shingled the entire roof. Unfortunately it wasn't a cheap fix, but at least it was done right and has been fine since then.
  5. He's been much more physical as of late and more noticeable in the offensive zone.
  6. CoHo with a wide open whiff, which he promptly followed up by a second whiff.
  7. Talk about careless use of your stick. That was brutal.
  8. Looks like Irbe spent some time with Hackett since his last start. Eichel update, 1g 1a +1 2pims halfway through the 2nd of the hockey east championship game.
  9. Hackett vs. Rinne should equate to a Nashville blowout.
  10. For use later on out in the car?
  11. I definitely agree about the skating, he was by far the best skater out there. But I did see him make some bad turnovers, almost like he's playing too fast for his teammates, which could be very possible. I'm sure he would look even better with more skilled players around him.
  12. Not nearly as many as big breasted men anyways.
  13. Another chance tonight to see Eichel in action. UMASS-Lowell vs. BU for the hockey east championship at 7 pm on NBCSN. Jack had two goals last night, albeit one an EN, in the win over NH. Of course I didn't see the third period last night when he scored, but what I did see of him in the first two periods, he actually looked pretty pedestrian.
  14. But true to Sabres form, they could even make Turd Ferguson look like an all-star.
  15. I think just my natural reaction would be to cheer anytime the Sabres scored if I were there watching at the arena. But inside I would be praying for a loss. We've come too far to win one of the two big prizes to blow it now.
  16. I look at it this way, if I'm rooting for my team to finish 30th, then I'm still rooting for my team. Right?
  17. Who's playing in net for Nashville tonight, Turd Ferguson?
  18. Looks like Lindback has returned to his old self.
  19. New Hampshire vs Jack Eichel at 8:00 on NBCSN. If you're not on board with the tank, maybe watching that game will bring you a little closer to it.
  20. I think this is the most perverted post I've ever read on this forum.
  21. I like this lineup, although I think I would have to go with carrots as my second line center. Apparently they are cheaper and more cost effective nowadays, and not nearly as good IMO.
  22. Hackett definitely needs to start the two games against Arizona and the one against Toronto....at least.
  23. Hanifin blasts it in for the win!!! Overtime goal obviously.
  24. Can't wait to see the games against the Coyotes. I bet there will be a bunch of the flu bug going around those two games and plenty of injuries during warmups. I think the Sabres should call up and dress Kea, Samuels-Thomas and Nevins for those two games.
  25. Ahh, the frustration of being a Buffalo Sabres fan. The one team that can lose 75% of the games you want them to win and win 100% of the games you want them to lose. They have plenty of pieces to the puzzle, but not that one huge piece they need. Kinda like the Bills. They are fairly loaded with talent, but don't have jack squat in the most important place to lead them to the promised land.
