Did Adams really do any research when he said we wanna keep Appert in Rochester and we're gonna hire a head coach with NHL experience. 24 hours later Lindy Ruff is hired and a few days later they promote Appert. Smh

And they're also one of the mosted hated teams in the NHL. The only reason they show well is because they're an original 6 team. Same goes for Detroit, Chicago, Montreal, Toronto and the Rangers. People had very few choices. Rangers fans are close to outnumbering Canes fans in Carolina.

We're going way off the rails here. But I went to school and worked with a girl named Kelley Fox. And I feel bad saying this, because we are good friends, but she was called Smelley Box. I'm such an ass, lol

The other day I was listening to one of the replays of Jeremy and Joe, and all they talked about for the first segment was about toll booths. Jeremy's memories of throwing the coins into the baskets. It was just horrible radio. Although, they did find out that there is still a "basket" toll booth somewhere in West Virginia. Somehow, that doesn't surprise me.

Matt Ellis must have pictures. And I'm not sold on Appert improving the PP. Interested in seeing who they bring in to lead the Amerks. I already re-newed for next season. I figured they already would've named Paetsch or Prospal to take over. Good Lord this organization.

I agree with pretty much everything you posted. I went to talk with my buddy during the 1st intermission to get his take on that first Crunch goal. He said they weren't sure if the puck went in the net. Like you said, one crappy replay on the scoreboard. But....when I got home, they showed it on the news, so I watched it in super slo-mo. You could barely see the puck, but it did go in and it was much clearer seeing it come out. But 10 mins for that review was ridiculous. The officials were trash. I was told that Syracuse had like 10 more PP's than the Amerks the whole series. I'm too lazy to go look it up. It true, that's insane. Just like the Panthers/Bruins disparity in PPs. When I went to grab my red towel I asked the kid handing them out, I said what's with the red? It's a white out, Syracuse is wearing white, Rochester is wearing blue and you're giving out red towels?? He said, we all agreed that it made no sense. He said nothing was coordinated. I was glad I had that towel though, because as per usual, the bathrooms ran out of paper towels before the 1st period ended.

Haven't been here in a few days. I didn't mean blow it all up. I mean, they need a kick in the pants. I'm hoping Lindy is the man for the job. This is yet to be seen, obviously. But, I mean, Appert can only help improve the Sabres PP, right? It'd be hard to make it worse.

One thing I forgot to mention. Lindy was the first of all the management team to leave tonight. He was gone with more than 10 mins left in the 3rd. The other 5 guys were still there for maybe 5 more mins. I hope Lindy was walking away shaking his head. This organization needs a major wakeup kick in the ass call.

After watching tonight's Amerks game....huge failure. He has no clue, and prolly less of a clue than Botterill had. Small speedy Euros...keep em coming. Maybe we'll win someday.

I think maybe you drank too much. They handed out those air sticks last on Sunday April 28th. Last night they handed out the red Pesky towels. I've been going to games since the 70's if you wanna play the age game. And I'm pretty sure I was there seeing how I have season tickets. The crowd was just fine. The team gave them nothing to cheer about. They came out flat. That's not the crowd's fault. Almost 11,000 fans and you come out and play like that??? That's not the fans. Seth Appert is another softy that will never get it done. Not to mention, Syracuse is built like a playoff team. The Amerks are not. Just like the Sabres.

I still have hope, and actually the most hope I've had since Ruff was last here. I really hope the game hasn't passed him by. But when Adams said, I'm not bringing Appert up, I'm looking for a HC with NHL experience. Last person I thought of was Lindy Ruff. He obviously didn't look too hard. But I'm still here, have always loved Lindy, and we'll just wait and see how it plays out. I'm hoping for the best. BTW, does Lindy still have a house in Buffalo? I thought he still lived there in the off-seasson.

So was at the Amerks game and forgot to DVR the Panthers/Bruins game. Just read the box score and couldn't believe what I saw. Florida 6 goals, 4 by ex-Sabres. I mean, just wtf has been going on in Buffalo? Never seen so much ineptitude for so long. Just read this after I made my post. We are def on the same page brother.

The crowd was hardly lame. Not sure what you were listening too. They were on the refs constantly and were chanting Levi after his great saves. The Amerks gave them nothing to get jacked up about. But to say the crowd was lame, is well.....lame. The crowd was great. Att - 10,758. So lame.

And Appert pulls a Granato. After pulling Levi Syracuse scores to go up 5-2. With under 2 mins left, he pulls Levi again down 3. Appert does not impress me. I'm shocked Pegula didn't hire him. I hate this franchise.

Ok, Levi is really good, but he's not very good on 2 on 1's. Smoked again. No chance. 4-2 Cuse. Season over Amerks. They didn't have one odd man rush all game. I hope Lindy has something up his sleeve. They all left about 10 mins ago. Now all the fans are leaving. Wtf.

Amerks with a real sloppy 7 mins of the 3rd. Still, only 12 SOG. That's not gonna win many games for any team. The Crunch only have 17.
