He is a part time liason for the whole team. Could he have been there, of course. By being part time, maybe he just takes in Amerks games. I'm not sure what a hockey liason does.

That first goal 24 seconds in was bad too. Levi was still waking up. But for the other 59:30, Levi was unreal. And the 2nd Toronto goal, no one in the world coulda stopped. Bad deflection right onto a Marlies stick. Wide open net.

Pretty sure LGA left early. Levi had 39 saves on 42 shots and the Amerks won 5-3. Marlies scored with 6 seconds left. Not sure I believe CA would be in Rochester either. Sounds odd. With that said, I wouldn't be surprised if the Sabres did take Levi out west, and I also wouldn't be surprised if nothing happens.

Levi was outstanding tonight. 39/42. He's gonna be pissed with that. The Marlies first goal came 24 seconds in and was a big softie. Their last goal came with 6 seconds left when Toronto had the goalie pulled. In between those 2, he was unreal. And the 2nd goal was gonna be impossible for anyone to stop. A bad deflection landed right on a Marlie stick, who had a yawning net. A few stops were just jaw dropping. He is so quick, it makes up for him being a smaller goalie. He plays a lot bigger than he is.

Yeah, I'm no fan of LA/So-Cal either.

Levi getting the nod tonight in Roch. Glad to see that. Curious to see if Buffalo takes him after the game. And as always, ***** Toronto. Leafs, Marlies.....***** em both.

Too soon for me to say. But looks like Byram has better offensive skills. Thought it could be partly because, well...Colorado. But, in his few games with the Sabres, he's on a higher PPG avg. Have to see more though.

He's been on fire in Roc as of late too. I just don't see them doing it right now. They prolly think Commie gives them just as good as a chance to win as Levi does. Amerks are on a B2B tonight and tomorrow at 1:30. Levi prolly isn't going anywhere. And no, UPL should get a night off on the B2B. Give Commie a game. They'll burn out/risk injury if they play Ukka the rest of the games. He'll prolly get 2/3 games off from here on out.

They shoulda know what they had 2 years ago. Goaltending should not be an issue every year. And to be honest, not only do I think you don't know much about goaltending, but after reading many of your other posts, I don't think you know much about hockey in general. Sorry.

Not sure how much you know about goalies. They play better with regular work. They want to know going into the season if they're #1 or #2. Every top goalie will tell you that. Goalies are a strange breed, (I was one for a long, long time, albeit at a lower level). Even Levi in Rochester is playing much better, knowing he is the true #1 down there.
