I think the 2nd replay angle from above/behind the blueline tells the truth -

The turnover was on Risto. Jack once again shows no desperation in his game... could’ve played the body hard, instead of softly laying his stick in their, while peeling off. -

Reinharts ozone movement away from the puck is a treat to watch -

Eichel has had some very terrible games recently... i’ll Criticize Housley for a lot... but if he’s using ice time to send a message, I am all for it... then again, it’s tough to credit Housley with doing that purposely -

The previous goal horn was too sad sounding, so he replaced it with one that doesn’t work. -
So youre opposed to regular season wins... all you’re saying with your interpretation of the comment is that the Sabres could’ve gotten Vezina level goaltending and thus playoff qualifying wins had their coach been capable of implementing a winning system... and you’re saying Eichel doesn’t qualify as an above average talent? Or you’re saying we would’ve been successful in the playoffs with said “structure”? Which one?

it would be funny if it wasn’t so depressing

Hunwick was invisible for 55 minutes (a good thing), then he failed to get the puck down ice to get his team a change and we lost the game... I don’t mind him playing due to Bogo injury. unfortunstely Botts doesn’t have the balls to bench Scandella for a game -
Why would he have gotten claimed? Are you going to follow up your argument that no one wanted Lehner with a counter argument that suddenly teams would want him? Housley’s comments today on Lehner are so telling...
-
Yes our rookie gm was I’ll equipped to get the right wake up call... he could’ve put Lehner on the bus in Rochester.
-
The point isn’t about how many people predicted it... the point is a veteran GM who has seen it all, and a veteran coach who has dealt with it all... were able to help get him right. our organization is run by rookies with no experience... the fans should stop making excuses for Bottsley, just because it helps them believe in an unknown future more.
-
I don’t think Phil has lost the team.. we’ve got recent examples of what that really looks like (team tuning out Ruff, players going behind Bylsma’s back). but... Phil has failed to reach them. The lack of desperation in Eichel’s game is one of Phil’s biggest failures. and even beyond that, when we get in to the game to game tactics at which he is really really bad. I can’t imagine what a 7 game series would look like... scary.
-
Our prospect pool is not weaK... it’s a poor perception based on a couple high 1st rounders making the NHL within 12 months of being drafted. think of it like this... you’ve stated how important these multiple 1st rounders are to building our pipeline... what if both of the 2019 1sts jump right to the NHL? Do we still have a weak pipeline?
-
After trading ROR, if Botts traded for Zaitsev it will all but be confirmed that he was a sleeper agent for Toronto. Lol
-
If we had ROR we’d be talking about the battle for home ice and a Toronto/Buffalo playoff series
-
He shooting 11% (Eichel is shooting 8.7%)

Yea, Dahlin was more at fault than Jack. And yea, Jack was dog tired. He still gave nothing... not a playoff race worthy effort . -

Imagine if jack defended with as much effort as he does when he skates the puck into 3 defenders -

That’s one way to help the line not be a huge liability in its own end -
