  1. John, Power is injured and could miss a big part of next season. A brand new priority is replacing his minutes with a steady defensive presence. So not only adding a RHD partner for Power, but replacing him. We have two top 4 defenders with Dahlin and Byram. They must add a defensive minded stalwart to the group Samuelsson, Clifton, Bryson and JBD - none are good enough to consistently play top 4 minutes. There is a new problem to address here.
  2. I don’t understand the entire Sabres award system but this one is fan voted and community service is a big part of it. Watch the presentations and interviews, community seems to be the main focus - Okposo has also won it, indicating community work emphasis over any ice MVP type of status. Tuch deserves it. That does not make Dahlin any less of a player, or any less of a contributor, or any less of a person.
  3. I still think this team is close. Gotta fix the goaltending, fix the team defensive zone play, and fix the special teams. They need more veteran leadership that won’t fade away when things get hard, like injuries and a losing streak. There is skill and talent.
  4. Never said I wished they stayed with Boterill so please stop making things up. The youth movement was not a need. It happened because Pegula wanted to cut costs across the entire organization, they blew up the roster and started over, right after giving Boterill a public vote of confidence. They had Eichel, Reinhart, Ullmark, Montour, McCabe, etc. I do not pretend to know this. It’s is what really happened, it’s factual, and it’s common knowledge. The difference between us is your poor ability to comprehend.
  5. https://www.nhl.com/sabres/news/buffalo-sabres-alex-tuch-2024-25-rick-martin-memorial-award-winner Tuch is extremely active in community service. Fans know him The Rico is for “On ice excellence, resiliency, and dedication to community”. It’s actually is 3 straight Rico’s for Tuch. Tuch has also been selected three straight years as Buffalo’s nominee for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, given to the NHL player “who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made noteworthy humanitarian contribution to his community.” Tuch played all 82 games, 36 goals, 67 points, he led all forwards with 113 blocked shots, led NHL in SHGs. Hope he gets the Clancy. I thought he was a good player when we acquired him, I must say he is better than I thought.
  6. McLeod with a well earned 20 this season. He centered on every line
  7. Not a good second period. Foot came off the gas on that powerless play. Can Lindy’s charges defend a two goal lead at home on fan appreciation night? Stay tuned to find out.
  8. If they played it more like 5 on 5, and stop the drop pass crap, they would get a better zine entry with more players attacking at once.
  9. well done Krebsie And the stasche is coming in ok these days.
  10. Good to see Tuch score a goal on his Bobble Head day. And he won a second Rick Martin Memorial Trophy.
  11. Final game of another lost season. Goat heads and fan appreciation, let’s go I guess.
