  1. If Tuch goes in front looking for rebounds, not to the side of the net, then he has a goal. Dave Andreychuck we’re are you?
  2. Cozens just did what Lindy wants, clearing a body. Only problem is he has to get strong enough to move him in one push. Two and you might get a penalty. One push, and do it like you enjoy doing it.
  3. Good evening Teammates, Someone is going to break their losing streak tonight. Let’s see which teams wants it more and which team has more fans in the stands. Back up goalie tonight. MUSCLE WEIGHT
  4. No comment until I see the return.
  5. He was a star in Canada. He was on their National Team, one of the best team junior teams in the world. He is better than what we are seeing right now, its there.
  6. Worse is the players are most likely not doing it among themselves.
  7. I know you don't care for him, and you have data to back up your case. I just don't think we are dealing with a mature hockey player yet. Yes he has 300 games, but everyone matures and develops differently. He will be better at some point. (See Sam Bennett, drafted at 4OA. Not much scoring production for 6-7 years). Honestly I think the 3rd line is his floor, but a place were he could perform better right now. I still believe he can play up on a 2nd line at some point in the future. Would like to see him play without kids even younger than him for a change. So many of these younger players, the "Sabres only" ones, are going through a big learning process.
  8. Well Mr. @Brawndo thanks for posting this. I have been saying this since the pre-season. The centers are not good enough. Thompson is really not a 1C and we don't have legit 2C. Now Lindy is saying it in his way. Lindy is talking about Thompson when he says he needs players to give him more at the end of the shift. The center should normally be the first forward back. And yes, I was cautioned about the problems any new coach was going to have with our young Core group. They have a lot to learn and they are on a crash course. The challenge is going to be keeping the team up and mentally together until they get out of this funk.
  9. Not true. He was playing poorly before the fight and the team was losing. He got frustrated and picked the wrong dance partner. Losing a fight is not his problem. Playing 2C minutes and PP minutes when he is a 3rd liner is his problem.
  10. “Hello Terry, it’s Kevyn. Kevyn Adams …. Yes, the guy from the hockey team. “ “The shipment of office supplies came in. Can I issue the staff their Official Sabres Pens all at once or just have them available in the office supply cabinet as needed? Yes, as needed, you’re right, they will probably lose them, or bring them home. uh huh. Yes sir… now on to those cup holders ….”
  11. LA has lots of palm trees.
  12. Well I don’t like our center spline either but I doubt a Lindy can make trades and convince players to come here any better than Adams at this point on the season while sitting on a 6 game losing streak.
  13. Dam KC Chiefs about to take a lead to win another game in the last 2 minutes of a game. Unbelievable. I hope they don’t.
  14. So Lindy is Darcy ?
  15. Yes, you do “simply think”. What do you contribute?
  16. I am glad this kind of thing happened now, if it had to happen at all. The Bills are good. The culture is good The defense failed today but let’s face it, Stafford and especially his top two receivers, played amazing football and made catches that could not be defended, even with good coverage. Stopping the run has been a red flag for the defense, our DL did not show today. McD made a few decisions that will be debated as well. Thanks to Allen it ended just a 2 point game. Listened to a few Bills interviews, the players always say they go back and “learn” from what happened, it doesn’t matter if it is a win or a loss. I wish the Sabres could make this practice part of their culture.
  17. Zito was the finalist in the GM search that got us Boterill. So Terry should know what a good candidate sounds like in an interview. He has to be willing to turn it over. He should find someone who did it at the NHL level and let him go. .
  18. I have said this in the past. He is always playing with the younger guys so seeing him on a line with Greenway and Mcleod would be nice. That really can't happen this year without adding a veteran 2C, unless you think Krebs and Kulich can carry that load, which I don't think they can do at this time. Next year we may not have Greenway and McLeod.
