  1. Big turnover in our zone when we could have broke out. Krebs bad pass to 77.
  2. I thought we were in a Bryson/Clague free zone? Not to be.
  3. Lots of McDavid fans in Oiler Jerseys. ESPN spent the entire pregame talk on McDavid. Let’s make them go home sad. Muscle Weight. Let’s see more great hockey and get the W.
  4. Cut back on the mind altering drugs too.
  5. What you say is true. But its contrarian today because of the focus on PC and other things. As a kid I literally got smacked around by a few teachers and other adults too, it didn't hurt me then because it was normal, and I was told I deserved it, but that still didn't make it right. Certainly I was not better then because of it, and I did not want that happening to my 3 kids when they were in school. Today is another world and you can't judge it by the 60's and 70's. My golf partner is my age and he has a grandchild in 3rd grade. He just explained to me today some of the things that are allowed (tolerated) at schools today. That story is for an OT thread.
  6. I have a bad feeling about the Bills lately. There seems to be negative undercurrents with the team, and there are many facts supporting a roster re-tool is needed to get this program back on track. 1. McDermott is still not getting the team over the hump in big games, especially concerning is the play of the defense. 2. Leslie Frazier gone, another scapegoat? After 13 seconds they fired the ST coach. 3. Beane's drafts have been less impactful the past few years, this team does not have many All Pro players. 4. Daboll is gone and I am still not a fan of Dorsey Something was happening with Daboll and McD. 5. The Von Miller signing is looking like it will cost more than than it gives back 6. The OL is below average and probably cannot be fixed in one off season. 7. Diggs wants out. His arguing with Allen at the end of the Cinci playoff game was childish, something is wrong there. 8. We will lose Poyer and Edmunds and more good players with not enough premium picks of free agent dollars to really fill their holes. 9. We are in cap trouble, Beane will dance around it and push the problems out to future years, let the next guy worry about it. 10. Other than Josh Allen what do we have? Lets not waste his prime.
  7. Will half the crowd be Canadians cheering for McDavid? I am thinking it will be.
  8. My bad. I thought he was on the crew.
  9. I am out of town so ESPN+ is the way to go.
  10. Great news. Can you post a picture of @Spoonmanhelping you? He is known as an expert in demolition.
  11. Sketches of Spain by Miles Davis had a similar impact on the jazz world because he added a full orchestra to his quintet and he puts Latin influences into American Jazz. This became popular afterwards, especially Brazilian Bosa Nova. In Mile’s catalog of recordings it’s one of his many groundbreaking records that changed the direction of the jazz genre. The man literally created sub genres of jazz several times. Pink Floyd used unprecedented studio techniques to really stretch the envelope of rock and they created a masterpiece. I can see a parallel between the two records. You a Music Man too?
  12. Yes. The next two are big. If we win both it really would help us down the road, and there are 20 more. So glad Dahlin is back. Hoping Greenway adds some immediate spark.
  13. It’s one of them. I’ll have to dig it out and spin it.
  14. Some really cool jazz. Miles Davis with full orchestration and it is haunting, beautiful, and powerful.
  15. That is legit. The Lightning have played an extra season and no doubt it takes a toll. That happened to the great Bills teams under Levy. They played an extra season to get to four Super Bowl.
  16. Canes 6 Tampa 0 The Sabres softened them up, with help from Cooper, and Carolina pounded them today, even with a rested first line. Bench your best 3 forwards for a period and still get killed. He was 0 for 4 on a back to back. That’s 5 or 6 losses in a row.
  17. God I hope not. To many teams right now. We don't play our division enough as it is. STOP Expansion. Forget Atlanta for good and leave Arizona.
  18. Greenway will play, he is in next years plan and he will play as soon as he can. That puts someone on the bench right now. Most likely that is Vinnie, but maybe not. VO and JJP have not outplayed him since he has been back from Rochester. A rotation is not out of the question. Again, no one needs to go to Rochester. When Tuch comes back someone else sits and at that point we have 2 spare forwards. You can guess that 2 of the 3 - Vinnie, VO, and JJP - will sit when Tuch gets back (assuming he does). Granato will most likely base the decision on many factors such as the opponent, how they are playing, and if anyone else is dinged up and needs a rest.
  19. I don’t think that is obvious at all. Waivers are not in play, it’s after the trade deadline and the roster can be bigger. It could be Vinnie, or Olofsson, or Peterka. It could be a rotation.
  20. No we are not an organization. You understand exactly I said and meant, you just like to look at things from another angle.
