Well .... I think we all learned not to mess with @Spoonman last night. Whew!

My biggest fear regarding this team is that Adams stays with the build from within approach, even in the off-season. Meaning UPL and Comrie in net next season. No real significant adds to the defense, and only bring in our own rookies (Savioe, Kulich, etc) at forward. Then I think, he was interested in Chyckrun, so he must know we need to get better and deeper on defense. I am just leery that the organization is satisfied with "being in the race", rather than actually ending this historic playoff drought. They were surprised by the team success this year, and even that is a bit troubling. Do Adams and Granato have what it takes to move the needle this off-season, like Tom Fitzgerald and Lindy Ruff did in New Jersey?

Youth and lack of depth for sure. We are still the youngest team. I just read something scary, might have been in BN. It was quoting Adams, he essentially wants this team to be comprised of players the same age, so picking up a 26 year old Greenway was ok for him. I hope I misinterpreted that. I really want him to bring in an experience veteran defenseman for the 4 slot with Power. A true veteran leader with playoff pedigree.

Not liking this this post game commentary at all.

I’ve never seen a 10 score game with one goalie in for the whole game. 10 minutes, 7 minutes, what is the difference, the guy was shell shocked and had no confidence. The time to pull him was the fourth goal. To wake the dam team up hopefully.

Yes. At a minimum he should talk to Comrie privately, but Granato needs to own something for what happened. He killed the confidence of this kid.

He is honest. Lack of depth, and three rookies, and several sophomores that never played this much hockey ever, and it is at the NHL level. They looked exhausted tonight from the start Owen Power has been incredible considering his revolving door of partners and the huge minutes he plays.

Wow. 10. I remember the Sabres used to do that to teams in the Aud. It’s hard to score 10. But Comrie should have been pulled on the 4th goal if Granato was serious about pulling this out. I feel bad for him having to sit in there. His confidence is destroyed.
