  1. A lot of long time players end their careers on a different team.
  2. Not sure they wanted to keep him. They did to him what will happen to Kyle next season.
  3. EJ got a hero’s welcome. I can see why.
  4. I can wake up at anytime tomorrow. Very grateful for that
  5. Good evening teammates, Punch checking in. On TNT awaiting the switch from Boston v. Devils. Tons of commercials hurting my head. Go Sabres!! Muscle Weight
  6. Ugh. You just added the words "Well" and "oh well", which actually changes the context of what I wrote. So you really do not comprehend my initial statement. Further, you keep adding layers to this, such as McDermott's game management, or what a championship team looks like - none of which I was even addressing. You missed the boat, and your desire to be correct is tiring. I hope I clarified it at some point, if not, so be it. For the record: I agreed with you on McDermott botching the clock management several pages back. This debate has nothing to do with that, my comment was a broader statement about games in the NFL.
  7. I will watch the game live, plenty of time to sleep afterwards.
  8. I will guess UPL, with Levi taking on the Golden Knights.
  9. You first said “they won the game because of a technical penalty on the go ahead TD ….” You are the one implying that the penalty decided the game, not me. Now you are changing the story, probably because you see your initial take was a bad one. All I am saying is the circumstances you described happen every week in the NFL. I was in not making an excuse for the Bills season, I was talking about the league. NFL games are very competitive and many games each week come down to a few plays, often to penalties, or non calls, and big lead changes are not uncommon. You sound like a guy that doesn’t watch football. I never once mentioned McDermott in any of this. You are bringing the coach into it? You need to re-read, comprehend, and be less defensive. You want McDermott fired. That is another conversation.
  10. It’s Wednesday and we are still debating a flagrant and obvious penalty. Shows the power of NFL branding, the media, and people like Mahommes. The sense of fair play does not exists, rules gets questioned, all because a guy you are supposed like is “uncharacteristically upset”. Monday on CBS Morning Show, one of them said they should not call penalties in the final 2 minutes. Just let them play. Stupid comment, one if many. But they all nodded in agreement. What’s getting lost is the Mighty Mahommes has 3 more plays to get the 10-15 yards which puts them in FG range. Plus they had time and a timeout, to get a score. The Chiefs lost their composure, especially their QB, then they went to the blame game. That game was not about the officiating, until Mahommes said it was.
  11. You basically described almost half the NFL games every week. Penalties deciding the outcome, lead changes, comebacks - happens all the time.
  12. Because they played well together last season for starters. What’s wrong with helping Cozens get his game back? Mitts is driving play much better than Cozens this season. When healthy we can try Mitts, Greenway and Benson. Or, Greenway goes to the 4th line and Olofsson stays in middle 6 somewhere. When everyone is back then lines 2 and 3 should be almost interchangeable. There will be lots of good combinations. The 4th line with a healthy Greenway, plus Krebs and Robinson might be fun.
  13. If we win players will come here. Just like the Bills. Kane was not what we needed anyway. But he was a barometer to understand the higher end market. Vets want to win. Adam’s will get his chance at the deadline, I want the team to be in it and looking to get better.
  14. No doubt DG will try them a few times.
  15. This is really interesting and good news Eric Robinson may be the biggest steal since Rene Robert.
  16. You mention this a lot, and I agree. I really think that Adams has difficulty getting the level of veteran players you want because of where the team has been for so long. It’s a hard sell to get the guys that Detroit got the last two seasons. Ask Patrick Kane.
  17. He is young. Still going through the learning process and the mental part of the game. He is going to get stronger, like Tage did. He will become a consistently good player. The goals will come.
  18. That would be Crowe's job, to know what pro players are there and how they fit. Probably gets assistance form analytics dept. Scraping up players in the AHL from one of the worst teams in the league is usually not going to yield much, but we need a boost right now and he is doing the job.
  19. There are 6 teams at 7-6 in the AFC. The AFC is extremely competitive this season. No one is dominating right now. Sure, the Bills have been disappointing with past losses to Jets, Jags, NE, and Denver that were all winnable games, not to mention the Philly game - but going forward is what counts and there is still a viable path to a division title. Remember just a few years back Tampa with Brady & Gronk came up the same way, they were a .500 team that strung together late season wins, peaked in the playoffs, and won it all. The Bills deserved the win at KC and they played a real good game against Philly only in that game the calls went against them. Beat Dallas and things get very interesting. This is the start of the what could be a great run. I am optimistic.
  20. They just might be peaking at the right time. Take it one game at a time.
  21. Rousek did not make errors, but he didn’t make things happen either. Robinson has a lot of straight line speed and likes to crash and stir things up. I am hopeful Robinson keeps it up. When Girgs comes back Robinson will be forced to keep the motor on if he wants ice. Looks like Krebs works well with him, another plus.
  22. Ray is still a beast. Didn’t miss a play and never even got blood on his suit.
