Best decade was the very first one. No doubt. It took 3 years to get “good “. We are working on 12 or 13 now, just to get mediocre and make the playoffs. It’s sickening. I am sick of it.

Most likely, he will be traded whenever we get our next GM. He will end up a journeyman #2, that occasionally helps his team with spurts of good play along with mostly mediocre play

Sure, not good enough on defense but that is not all due to defenseman. Forwards are part of that statement. Look at the high number of odd man rushes against. Right now both Power and Joker are looking bad. Clifton played 25 mins because Muel was out. EJ was the only + player until the 5th Flyer goal. That is when even he failed to shoot with a wide open shot. The Flyers came down and scored after we overpassed again.

I thinks it’s more than goaltending and defense. The forward are not helping, especially the bottom 6. We can’t roll 4 lines with tryouts still happening. This looks more like a development year than last year.

They look slow because they seem afraid to touch or be touched by another player. I said this last year. When they play Philly (or teams like them) they slow down and play guarded. If they look slow it is because they are playing that way. This team is going to get their coach fired. It tells me what I don’t want to believe about DG, Mattie and the gang.

With all that, what about having the final change at home? That should be an advantage but it never is.

The Boo’s were so loud after the first period that the clowns on the TNT intermission called our town “Booffalo”. They had very pointed remarks about the soft play and the lack of effort from this team for two games.

Yup. We needed our goalie to bail us out early due to careless play in our zone, it didn’t happen. Didn’t matter. We never got going anyway. We played good against the Avs. Yet, another poor game versus a physical team. There was no effort or energy, only this time at home. No pride in getting booed at home. They deserved it too. I am thinking our FO is so enamored with their own prospects that they fell short in improving the team for the playoffs.

Cozens just stood up for himself. No one on this team can take Hathaway. Maybe Greenway, but he doesn’t fight. We have no match.

Hathaway is a complete monster. An old fashioned fourth line bum. We lose a top 6. We can’t have Cozens and Tuch taking on these kinds of guys.

The second version had Jeff ”Skunk” Baxter on guitar, who was also amazing. But it was a different band with Michael McDonald singing. Totally different band with these two guys in it. Both very good.

I really like them. Especially the first version with Tom Johnson. Some very nice guitar work.
