  1. Terrible call. The guy backs into the slot over a stick. not our night.
  2. Yes, I told the entire city that. Childish response. If you feel this way why bother watching? That is a rhetorical question you don’t have to answer but you should think about.
  3. Well. We really needed to win that period and instead we gave up another late bad goal. It’s going to be a difficult 3rd. He had a few chances but not cashing in.
  4. Why do you watch them? Seriously, why bother?
  5. Its 1-0. Guys are quitting early tonight.
  6. Because the road team has been losing and played really good. Lots of time. Period by period. Win the second and let’s see what we can do.
  7. Good PK Hey all you whiners, you are watching a rested home team against a team that played a tough game last night. It’s not gonna be pretty. We will have to steal any points we get tonight. Don’t jump ship.
  8. I am not certain that playing a 7-11 is gonna work tonight. The forward lines are all juggled up and they have no flow. Could be a big problem in the 3rd when legs start to go. We need to win this period. This PK is critical.
  9. Young. Pits ave age is 29.9, Sabres is 24.9.
  10. Decent until the end. Bad PP and sloppy goal to give up late. They need more. Anyone miss Tuch?
  11. Need Skinner, Tage, and JJP to have a big night.
  12. It’s early but yes, good goaltending is a must.
  13. Why not? I see you as the ultimate Bachelor. Watch sports all day and night, bowling, pool, golf, horse races, daily calls to the bookies, beer and pizza, hot dogs and cheeseburgers …
  14. Good evening Teammates, Punch checking in. Big game tonight. On road, second night of B2B. Teams needs to pull together without Tuch again. Go Sabres!!! MUSCLE WEIGHT
  15. You sound like some of the parents I encountered coaching youth hockey. This is not youth hockey. You don’t play a player more because his parents flew in to see him. Performance = play starts in competitive youth travel AA and AAA leagues. Savoie knows it. They talked to him. They evaluated him and they saw enough. Did you watch his 3:55? He is not going to help us this year. This is professional hockey. Savoie did get another look at Rochester, this time he did much better, plus he got a game in the bigs. Let the fire burn.
  16. Wine and dine, @PASabreFan. No fast food allowed on dates.
  17. You could see from the 3:55 minutes that Savoie has some talent but is not ready to contribute to a NHL team with a goal of making the playoffs. The good news is he did well in Rochester, he was at a PPG clip for that short duration. Unfortunately, he can’t stay in Rochester this year but he will be there next year to add to the cycle of running prospects through the AHL. Kullich and Rosen are benefitting for it and are ahead of Savoie. We are loading up the prospect pipeline the correct way. Things are slowly but steadily looking for up for the Buffalo Sabres.
  18. Big one tonight. Get over .500. The Pens can be beat. Hop we play our A game and UPL gets a lot of goals in support.
  19. The D is much better at this stage of the season compared to last. They can get even better. Ryan Johnson could be a key. He should go back if he is going to sit as the 7th defenseman. If he continues to play like he has we can rotate him with other players, keeping EJ and others healthy. We have a good problem when Muel gets back.
