We have at least 6 skaters that are not playoff capable players on any team. Their record is there for us to see. The coaching staff is failing to adjust. The Powerplay is a prime example. It has been figured out long ago, and the Sabres coaches have no answer or adjustments.

Bills culture under McDermott is totally different and much better. The biggest thing hurting the Bills has been game day coaching. McD is a very good coach, you have to be a bit better to win it all and when he had the opportunity on game day, he did not deliver (13 seconds is a great example). Winning those 13 seconds gives him a home game to get to the Super Bowl.

Get a coach and a staff that teaches it. Vegas did it.

But Eichel left because of everything that happened in the 6 years before that. And the only reason we got Eichel was the disaster of the 3 years before that. All of the perpetual losing has ONE COMMON DENOMINATOR. The root cause of this disaster is at the top. Wait until the trade deadline. Let’s see how many good players come here. We have tons of assets but no big hockey trades happen because good players with a NMC will not come here.

I am leaning this way right now. I’m not one to make changes quickly either. But DG messages are not being heard He actually did a good job pulling them out of Krueger funk while losing the core of the team Cozens said it all. He even blamed himself on the faceoff. The difference between the Sabres this year and the last year is a lot of little things. Sure you can point to injuries but the biggest problem are the many mistakes, and unforced errors. How about the team, as in the players, fix that and make Buffalo a hard place to play in? They can make that happen.

He is a college hockey coach that had been good at the minor league level so far. He has never coached in the NHL. We have hired a bunch of first time NHL coaches with no success.

This team does have good speed. They are skilled with the puck. When opponents try to skate with us we tend to score and prevail. Hence we see a lot of neutral zone traps and heavy games. We get impatient in this type of game and we give up odd man rushes. Worse, we stand around watching. After awhile our goaltending breaks down. This is the pattern. It was all there in St Louis. The Blues tried to play our game and we dominated for a stretch and tied it up. TIME OUT called by St Louis. BAM - two goals in 20 seconds all because our youth breaksdown and makes errors. Heavy game was back and we caved.

Because he loved them and their reason for existence was to win Stanley Cups. Excuse me, I just swallowed some vomit. Knox was a gentleman with a presence, and he hired wired proven winners. Pegula won’t even talk to proven winners, and vice versa.

Adam’s players are still too young. He was fortunate that Cozens came up fast, and then Quinn and Peterka were ready after one season in Rochester, and even then, the better teams might have kept each of them down for another year. Kulich/Rosen are still far from ready. If Adams thinks he is building by adding 2-3 rookies every year he is crazy. The team is saturated by youth and they are boys vs men.

Uh, no. Look at Pegula’s full and complete hockey record. FAIL. it’s one calamity after another. I can look at two years or twelve, or any period in between. The amazingly consistent thing is losing, and hiring inexperienced people to run the team. I’m talking NHL experience. Literally everyone is a first time GM, or HC. we the fan base have been more than patient. The NFL would have stepped in by now.
