I know the Bruins are not good, and they were very bad last night. Yet they are over .500 and 13 points ahead of Buffalo. The Sabres are 10 points behind the closest division teams. 13 losses in row is mind boggling.

You are a excellent poster but the sentences in bold not true. We lost a playoff game at home to KC just last season, and we lost a playoff game to Cinci the year before. The #1 seed will help, but you still have to play the games. Across the board in all facets the Bills brought their B game. There were some calls that hurt them but they did not make enough of the plays that were there.

Last year it was the Jets. The year prior it was Miami. They don't need major changes, they need a few pieces. A WR1 and an impact playmaker on defense.

The season is a lost cause. Trying to win every night should be a given, and I don't believe in any other way. Always try to improve the team and win games. The fact that this GM could be safe for another season kills all of my urges to play "what if" with trade proposals and roster options. I don't want him trading big pieces. I want real change and I want a proven NHL Exec with a winning pedigree running things for a change. I have a trip planned to Buffalo, we have a family event and I added Super Bowl weekend to the trip in anticipation of something great happening. Cant wait to get down to Florida afterwards. Time to move on ....

You see the Sabres play a game like this and it makes you wonder how they could lose 13 straight. I mean they had a big home stand off of a west coast sweep and were sitting in 3rd in the division. Fourteen years … Oh well. I’m having a tough time dealing with another wasted hockey season on top of another AFCCG loss to KC.

It was a PA masterpiece though.

That was a good game. I needed that.

UPL’s glove provides the coup de grace I’m entertained!

JJP wanted that hatty

way to answer. No passive Alamo please.
-
Terrible powerplay zone entry and we take a penalty. SMH
-
He is not the problem. Thompson will score a ton of goals in the correct situation.
-
Nice hatty for Tage.
-
Benson will be a middle 6 winger in time. Still a puppy growing and learning.

You get to live in a cool town.

That was a fortunate period. We won it 2-0 but UPL was called on too bail them a lot. They better play an aggressive 3rd period and go get the next goal. Stop the Alamo style of play. That means you Lindy.
-
Wake up Sabres. End the period with a PPG.
-
That was pretty bad play after the PK. Good to get the whistle UPL.

Ray endorsing wasting power play time

Ok. Dan Dunleavy made a decent call on the Peterka goal. Thumbs up 👍

That was a nice goal. Tage is a finisher. Get Tage a 1C playmaker. That will be a impactful start to improving the team.

Cozens overpass leads to 3 on 1 against us. Nice looking taco. Or is it a “street” taco?
-
Yes. And we drafted a bunch of centers too. Even more bizzare is that Kulich played wing in the AHL.

Good evening Teammates. This is a winnable game. We should beat this Bruins team in our rink. Of course, not sure we will, but this is not a good Bruins team.

Tyson Kozak Recalled Aube-Kubel assigned to Rochester

As bad as Adams off season judgement was on his player and coaching moves (see bold), he was even more wrong on the majority of players that he knows and keeps in prominent roles on this team. Below was the opening day forward line up. This team does not stink because of the 4th line. The 4th line was never the reason they were losing last season, and it is not the reason they are losing now. The problem is that the first line and the second line are overmatched almost every night. Peterka - Thompson - Tuch Benson - Cozens - Quinn Greenway - McLoed - Zucker Malenstyn - Lafferty/Krebs - NAK Tage is the only true first line forward on the team, and he is not a very good center (for those who think he is a center) but he is 40 goal sniper that might greatly benefit from a playmaking center. No one else on this team can play on contending playoff teams first line. Tuch is a 2nd line player and is probably a 3rd line player on top tier teams like Vegas, Colorado and Florida. All the rest of the Sabres top 9 are 3rd liners. A few of the young guys still have second line ceilings (Peterka, Quinn, Benson) but do not consistently match up well when real bullets are flying, especially when they play together or with Cozens (a third liner too). Adams was wrong.
