  1. He is the best fighter on the team. Middle weight but he can get leverage and throw’em.
  2. Good evening Teammates, Punch checking a bit late. My feed is bad. No video on ESPN+. They get a -
  3. The Bills are the second best team in their conference and in the top 4 in the league. Which means little but they are in it because they have a star QB and some very good support players, and good coach. McD has not been able to win the big ones, just like Andy Reid could not for a long time, but nowAndy is the standard so i/ can hope that McD and the players can one day put it all together. It is in the realm of possible. And for the record further, it was actually Bill Parcells that turned the Pats around from doormat to contender - not Bellicheck. Belly had Brady, Bill had Bledsoe.
  4. Never will I wear a beaver hat, but thanks anyway. Seriously, your new found positively is nice. Not as fun, but nice.
  5. Just get a coach and GM that are like McDermott/Beane. Accept what happened in the past as history, own the current situation, and fix it. And get rid of everybody, no matter how much they make, that cannot help you fix it. And only bring in players that will help you fix it. Most of all they kept Pegula to a spectator role. They completely transformed the Bills who had a 17 year drought. It can be done. The Red Sox and Cubs had 90+ year droughts. The Pats* were mostly terrible until Bellichick.
  6. People love the sweater. The problem is the owner.
  7. No. Just get the right FO and coaches and the team we have is going to be fine. If you go expansion are the rules the same as the Vegas/Seattle expansion? if yes, it still comes down to ownership, FO, coaches. Either way you cannot have TP for ownership.
  8. + = Stemhovilichski Frank Mahovlich
  9. Yes, spot on. Power, then Cozens, could both up end being premature evaluations by Adams that were wrong. But they could work out too. It will be interesting to see who else gets paid.
  10. Skip Krake, Ron Anderson and Allen Hamilton are ready for old school expansion team duty. Maybe they can convince Doug Barrie too?
  11. Hello Spooner. Good to see you back.
  12. Diggs gave us four years with very impressive play and he had the stats to show for it. In the beginning he brought instant credibility, good leadership, a drive to win, and fun. We all saw the quirky side to him and his relationship with Josh and others. This was becoming more of distraction each year. He is 30, he was going to be gone next year anyway so Bean took what he could get, and he is taking the cap hit all at once this year. Beane could acquire another star WR and extend him next year when Diggs cap hit is gone. Or he could draft one now. Or any combination. I don't see this as an end of an era. Just part of a retool, (like Poyer, Tre, Morse, ...). Thanks for everything Mr. Diggs and best wishes.
  13. If it happens it is a good problem to have.
  14. Depend on what #1 means? Upside, or most likely to emerge next year? He is probably number one in juniors, sure. I like that he is solidly built, a forward can overcome height with the right body type, strength, and mindset. Wahlberg is now in the AHL, plus there are several other Amerks to consider (Kulich, Rosen, the two Russians, )
  15. Understand. I just see them on my camera at night and I ignore them since they helped fix the mice problem. I was tired of fixing my AC unit, that happened twice.
  16. A great benefit to Rochester being so close. Levi should play more and help the Amerks get into the playoffs. He can still backup in Buffalo at times, or even get a few more games in the NHL too.
  17. My yards backs to woods. We have mice and other critters to deal with. I have found a few mice getting into my garage, several times they got into my AC unit and ate wires, one time I found traces that indicate they got in the basement - had to fix their entry points and put traps out. Solution: Feral and stray cats. The past few years cats have been on the prowl, they come from the same wooded area. I pick them up on my outdoor cameras and watch them on patrol. The result, no signs of mice anywhere. They avoid people and are hardly ever spotted during daylight. I have seen four cats in total, three look to be feral but one has a collar and roams with them. No complaints from me regarding these cats.
  18. I was told by someone highly credible and formerly in the Sabres hockey operations that Tuch is a great teammate and a positive all around, but just not the captain type in the locker room. Dahlin is the leader. He can win a Norris if the voters ever decide to go back to looking at more than points.
  19. I remember reading your posts on this and hoping you were wrong. So far you are not. So far he does not use his size at all. Rarely even for leverage our blocking out a player. I was hoping for some growth in this area in year 2. Nada.
  20. Excellent post. I think Dahlin is as complete a package, one more so, than many of the usual Norris contenders.
  21. Bridge. We are getting maxed out with all the money tied up on the blue line. And Power got his for a high school graduation present
  22. All we are playing for is pride and to gain some winning momentum for next year. The chances of playoffs are of course extremely remote. Given that, why watch them if gaining 2 points means nothing? Are you one of the "lose for a better draft choice guys", or are you a "lose to get the coach fired guy"? I enjoy watching them play a good game and win, someday I hope to see it more often.
