Why? Because winning breeds winning. Why do they have to stay at rock bottom? How is that going to help the players we think can be saved and can help in the future? I want Levi supported properly because he might be part of the future. People have been saying all these things in bold for too many years. All it does is add to the losing culture. I know they are too far out of it to make the playoffs. That is not happening. But why do we need to crash and burn?

I think we all know the kid can’t save us. In just hope he is supported and the team stops regressing.

I was thinking it was tonight, this is timely info. I will finish my chores, then do my work out, and then watch the game. I hope they play hard in front of Levi.

A lot of Beer leagues are notoriously rough. There are always more that a few guys in them that can't play hockey at all, that want the enforcer role, or that deliver late checks in a no-check league. I've seen lots of injuries in these "leagues".

There should be nothing to correlate between Sabres and Bills wins and losses. I do have one superstition though. Once a Bills game starts I will not look at anything Sabres, no posting here, no checking scores, no talking about them. The Bills get all my attention. This is coming from a long time Buffalo hockey fanatic. I wasn't always like this, but I don't want to taint the Bills experience with Sabres. I believed in the concept of One Buffalo before PSE came up with it. But it goes far beyond sports teams and more to the community. Once a West Sider, always a West Sider.

And no reason to hold anything back at KC. Throw everything it takes at them. Bury them.

I think the Bills played a great game in crappy weather against a very good team. Best wishes to them next week in the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP Game. I have been rooting for a Super Bowl since they created it. It can happen. This team is good enough to win.

I think we can adjust to a one dimensional run game. If the Ravens can run and pass then it gets dicey. Bills have been a better 2nd half team this year. Keep the faith. Sometimes the answers is to just tackle better.

You rated Quinn's stock as up and JJP as down? I have it the other way. I think JJP is a bit of a victim of all the line changes and having to play with Cozens and the other kids. JJP started out fine playing with a healthy Tage and Tuch, but his game has slipped just like the rest of them. There is just too much shuffling going on as Lindy looks for combinations that might work. Shuffling cannot fix the problems with the talent and the lack of experience. Terry wanting to move out contracts to save money sounds about right. Inserting Karmanos as GM and moving Adams into a new job is probably a mistake. Adams will still want to be part of the hockey operations brain trust and that could stifle real change, impact Karmanos' ability to make moves, and could also lead to factions within the ranks. I have seen this happen in organizations many times over. Usually its best to move the old boss completely out.

The guy for what? I look forward to seeing Levi in the net again, but only to see if his game has progressed. Give. him the net in a September? He should have to earn that. If he can beat out UPL then he gets the net.

I am excited, and nervous, about this game. I think we can win it. It's time for our defense to shine. The team is healthy, they are home, and Allen has played his most steady and consistent football ever. Go Bills!

Interesting to hear two points of view on the UPL head hit. I have seen a lot of hockey games, players will take liberties and act like it was unintentional. Especially when there is no fear of retaliation.

I was surprised by the players comments at locker clean out. They fiercely defended Granato during the season, recall the fan salute thing, and then afterwards It felt like some of the players were throwing him under the bus. Very strange situation in Sabreland.

I cannot agree with him selling the Sabres to outside interests, it would alienate him with many Bills and Bandits fans. In a perfect scenario, a Buffalo based business consortium buys 51% of the Sabres from Terry and they run the team, including the Amerks. Probably not gonna happen though.

This is true. If they keep Byram the dollars invested on the defenseman will be even more pronounced. I think if the team is going to be retooled then Mule and Joker need to go. I would not miss either. Today there is a big focus on puck moving defenseman, we have 3 of them, lets add some better defensive defenseman that can clear out the front of the net, add a physical presence, and win puck battles.

True. And it should apply to every player. I mentioned early in the GDT that it might be good game for Reimer to play. UPL has had too many rough games. Most of them he started out good, kept them in, and then failed under relentless 3rd period pressure and a collapse by the skaters in front of him. We know he can better but right now I look more at the lack of support. Lets look at how many of the Adams core got paid and then followed up with a big drop off the next season(s). Muel, Tage, Cozens, UPL, ...

I think Terry is naive enough to think his pep talk in Montreal would help them. Instead things have been worse. All he did was message that losing was ok. There is no winning standard right now.

I am losing my love for this team. I can’t even bother to discuss all that’s wrong.
