  1. 1-1... bad angle goal scored off of allison. tit for tat
  2. this game could go either way at this point. 7-1 leafs or 3-2 sabres... anyways, its 1-0 leafs on a fluke goal that was knocked in by mckee.
  3. i think its blacked out on msg... if you have center ice, you'll get the tsn feed
  4. jesus... how many injuries will the sabres have. geez.
  5. its all over but the crying. 2-1 buffalo i love the development of ryan miller... He could be the first bona fida superstar developed completely in the sabres organization since i don't even know... turgeon? .500 on the road trip now with a big roadie in toronto on thursday. nice effort
  6. well better than doing that fancy cut across move inside the blue line only to have the puck stripped.
  7. holy crap... i take that back, afinogenov actually carried the puck to and crashed the net, drawing a penalty and nearly scoring... must see replay a little western canadian grit to that euro style will do max good
  8. by the way, dominik ha...i mean miller is playing well tonight
  9. i'd like to see afinigenov actually coached on his offensive abilities... Like, put him on the russian national team for a year and see how he develops. I think Afinogenov's legacy with the sabres will always be untapped potential, and that's sad. But yes, i agree with you. jagr is in another league than max... i was just making a simple statement...
  10. afinogenov=jagr-finishing touch this guy is just maddening... the msg guys are ripping him for it too. I say rightfully so.
  11. scoooooooooooores. kotalik on a shot from the slot on a takeaway
  12. hip to hip into the boards. only good news is that its not a concussion, as he's had problems with that. connolly is walking to the dressing room with minimal limp. looks that he'll be ok. as for the hit: it was wicked and it was clean. too bad kasparitis was the one who did it
  13. looked to be a clean hit on connolly. very very big hit and he's down and out.
  14. I've mentioned before that they played like crap BEFORE that goal was kicked in. However, this game was proof positive that a blatently bad call can either reverse, keep, or kill any type of momentum.
  15. apparently they were watching an rape snuff film in the booth.
  16. and the canadian version makes no mention of the "goal"
  17. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/recap?gameId=260121003 looks like i'm not selling that bridge tonight
  18. like what i say about all PA announces, besides john gurtler for the bills (but just cause he created my signature line): He's no Milt Ellis.
  19. game over 4-1 for the flames. The flames worked very hard and the sabres were flatter than they've been in a while from the very start. While the game was close, that phantom goal occured which totally killed whatever was potentially brewing for the sabres. Completely forgettable game except for the officiating outrage.
  20. yeah... their story will be quite interesting. you could already see rob ray and kevin sylvester were snickering when they reported that campbell called darcy
  21. what a wasted talent he was. booze does that to people though
  22. theoren fleury... answered my own question.
  23. the sabres played pathetic before the kick in goal, so that's not too much of an excuse. the team just came out flat like they always do in the western canada road trips. at least we won in edmonton.
  24. i'd love to see the rangers at msg... i've been to a knicks game, but i was really young.
  25. ok, i'm drawing a complete blank on this... i know tony amonte played for the blackhawks, but who was the really short guy who played for the blackhawks and rangers and was an alcoholic? he was like 5'5" and "retired" 2 years ago? i really can't think of who it was
