yeah, that was a very bad period for the sabres. luckily, Miller has kept them in the game. i'm fairly confident that the sabres will find their legs in the 2nd, and hopefully open things up a little. they can't afford to let the bruins hang around.

7:00pm it's november, and the sabres finished off a dissapointing October by leaving one single point on the table... geez, its going to be a long season! just kidding... however, they did not win that last game outright... I'd love for them to win convincingly against the bruins tomorrow night. The defense now will have one full game under its belt with paetsch in and tallinder out. Miller will be pissed about the game last week. The boys will be rested. IT's now time to roll. 4-1 buffalo

hopefully they won't lose 2 in a row though. that streak would grind on everybody

all the atlanta goals came off of turnovers or bad bounces. none can be pinned directly on miller. you could tell that he was taking it hard though after the game... usually when miller gets pissed he comes out firing. hopefully we'll get another streak started against boston

i was hoping that we'd win tonight, but it was just not to be... Right from the getgo, the bounces weren't going our way... But the hockey gods had our backs, for that goal that was scored on the "offsides" was not going to be the GWG. hell, we didn't even lose this game. 10-0-1 with 21 points heading into november is downright perfect. Time to reset, and use the 5 days to focus on boston.

nah. this is a big game. the sabres never (i mean from about november 2005 on) seem to come up short in big games, unless they're missing 2/3 of their starting defense...

these islanders announcers are just... bla. they're definitely not good, they're definitely not bad... its like a minor league game tonight. at least that's the feel i get from watching. I'm pissed that the FSN ny hottie is on "assignment"
