This is what I saw too. First 3-4 minutes Sabres had the better possession and half of that was in Leafs zone. They got hyped and jumpy then boom mistakes made and it's in the back of the net. Marner and Taveres are out there ffs. Show some respect, they are gonna counter punch, don't be dumb. Game was over before they knew what hit 'em. A save or two would have been nice but they were primo chances.

Yup. Gen X is both great and terrible at parenting. On the whole it seems like a huge shift compared to our parents generation. I mostly blame the technology for enabling it and the culture of fear we've built with MSM/cable/internet. I wonder how all these kids going to establish themselves as adults and reproduce independently? There's also the less popular term "lawn mower parents". Mowing over any and all adversity your child might face.

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure, but sharing perspective from my son and people his age (early 20s) who can "see" events every day on their socials/phones. When they "see" the Sabres games over the past 5 years the environment looks terrible to them. Then when they choose to try and go, like one of them who's a Cane's fan despite growing up in ROC (puke) did last week, they question it. "Why not lower seats prices? We go to Sens games for $5" (presume resale). "It's sold out and fun in Nashville" And in Pittsburgh they have that Student Rush promo at $30 on game days to fill seats cheap. Do the Sabres do any of these things? Family 4 pack I guess, which is fine for revenue, but tbh is that the demo to get the place rocking? More likely it's a bunch of people who don't mind the damn whistle! Definitely tricky with season tickets factored in. But also definitely improving! Coincidentally I spoke with my rep today, and he shared that all remaining home games are trending towards sell out. @Taro T completely agree w/ this " (And, yes, the Canes are very good, but the casual fans still don't give a rat's rear end about them. We're the ones that find them a good team to watch & measure the Sabres progress against.)"

Adams on that Dreger podcast last week was almost uncomfortable. They asked him about two at the same time. He was like "yeah it's not ideal, LEVI IS AWESOME (40 inch waist), Portillo is good too. We'll see." My guess was vs Bruins and Celtics schedule and cheap night to get the rink.

I would love for it to be the case - and the crappy attendance at the Carolina game would be an example of "something is broken". But how do they fix it? Above my pay grade, but yeah not expecting price to go down.

Highlights. EN goal by our guy Hunter McDonald from Fairport, his 1st career goal. He's having a solid season against the best in college hockey. If he makes it to the Flyers it will be very mixed.

Looks like 3 EN. Two in the opening game vs Ott and one vs Pitt on Nov 2nd. And he had a garbage goal late vs Van on Oct 22 to make it 5-1, but he opened the 3rd period in that game with a big goal to make it 3-1. So I guess Oct/Nov ok fine a little soft.
