  1. They were up 4 - 0 in the 2nd and blew it. 2 - 1 inspires nothing in me. Start putting more W's than L's up and I'll start to consider buying tickets, until then, not a penny more.
  2. Don't care what Adams has to say..... The fan base verbal team beatings will continue until the win / loss record improves....
  3. Thinking Dahlin maybe? His love for the game looked like it took a deep bruising shot after that 3rd Avalanche goal?
  4. I don't believe this anymore. I don't believe the Buffalo Sabres will move.
  5. Thats the game, Night all.
  6. It's worse 5han that GA, much worse. Puck possession is everything, Buffalo gives the puck away much to often. They back up in their own zone to deep, giving way to much ice to the opponent. But puck possession, ya, they suck at it every where on the ice. They still panic with the puck.
  7. They're going to blow this game.
  8. Missed the 1st, looks like the boys have it well in hand. Go Sabres!
  9. Lol, completely insane. This team is doing more than playing football, they're having fun.
  10. Put every penny you have access to and double down. Buffalo is winning tonight.
  11. Personally I'm not unhappy with the picks, merely pointing out that as of right now they aren't the type of players, position wise or system wise that can elevate this club. Some of that isn't by their doing I fully realize. For example, both would excel with select other clubs, even at their younger ages. My observation was to point out they need that in the forward ranks, or, God forbid I can't believe I'm going to say this, they need a Hasek if they are going to continue to play this way in this system. As for Eichel, Reinhardt, ya, we had a talent stacked team, with ROR, even Kane, and still could not get any traction. There's a rot in Buffalo for some reason, and I've identified 1 common denominator, they all played their early young NHL careers here. Having a true veteran supporting cast means something I'd surmise. Yes coaching, GM decisions have a significant impact, but the level of s uck here in Buffalo points to something much deeper, imho.
  12. Sorry, but Dahlin is not a franchise defenseman. He's good, but not franchise changing good. Power? Yikes, not him either.
  13. Expansion. Expansion actually has an opposite effect on the spread of high end talent for hockey. Players gravitate to markets with tax incentives, prestige and comfort of living. Buffalo along with many other teams have to luck in to their franchise players in most cases. Take a look at the contenders year after year. Parity doesn't exist.
  14. This right here is the common denominator right now. The Sabres are a farm team for the other 31 NHL teams. Didn't get what you needed in the draft? No worries, Buffalo has what you need.
  15. I'm looking at Adams portfolio as Sabres GM, I don't see the success aspect of it.
  16. I can't be mad at the players, they are who they are. Hell,I can't even get mad at Adams or Pegula to be honest. I'm all out of anger for this team. Still watch them, still love'em. I don't see the playoffs for them this season as of right now, to inconsistent. Maybe it changes enough to prove me wrong. Maybe other EC teams ***** the bed. Anything is possible I guess.
  17. I do wonder how much longer before Adams pulls the trigger. No playoffs this year and he has to be gone. Just another Pegula experiment gone bad. Will he tru to save his job? I do wonder.
  18. Size is over rated, wifes been telling me for years 😀
  19. I could have a cake ready before they decide
  20. Lindy's challenge work ethic just isn't there?
  21. Tough last 2 games. 1 goal game, ot loss. Get right in the head boys, don't let it eat at you. Learn from it, be resilient, adapt, overcome and push through to victory. Go Sabres!
  22. I can't say whether the faithful are willing to part with particular players, just that an overwhelming number of them want to see it happen. At least, the ones I casually chat with.
  23. Reading the insight of many on here, speaking with Sabres fans in person, both at games as well as out and about in town, one theme keeps coming to the front, the Sabres need to bring in a couple of established scoring forwards. I don't hear the "no one wants to come here" stance outside of venues such as this. Not to say it isn't a thing, but almost every fan I speak with wants Adams to flip assets for the "now is the time" moment.
