  1. I loved reading about you guys tracking the Pegula jet. The fan base on this forum is the best. :)
  2. Right handed shots on the LW. There is a reason the most successful LW'ers are LH shots, same with RW'ers with RH shots. Putting RH shot wingers on LW is not the answer imo.
  3. I also see the ROR to wing idea battered about. I have to be honest, I watched him during the worlds, he's freaking amazing. The ROR to wing conversation doesn't convince me on Reinhart at 2c. There has to be more, and that is difficult I know, since Sam is still so young.
  4. Great points, and thanks Saddens me a bit. Would love. P. Kane on the Sabers. And thanks 3putt for the convo, very informative.
  5. I've seen some promote Reinhart for Hanifin. Someone, anyone, convince me one way or the other.
  6. That would be awesome. I've never been. So, if you don't mind me asking, is Chicago considering moving one of the big 2 contracts in the near future?
  7. Well, that is interesting. Hope Asplund turns out to be really good.
  8. Voted Yes No No Just see Kane as odd man out based on what I've read on here mostly. I like Kane to be honest as a player, but frown on publicized off ice issues. But based on what a lot of you guys (and gals) post, sounds like the cost next contract could be a bridge deal to far.
  9. Did it ever occur to you to drop Patrick Kane to Buffalo to play with Eichel while you were coaching with your buddy? Insert "well, we're waiting" caddy shack photo here :)
  10. Haven't seen but a couple of games with Hannifin so can't really say anything. I have family in Arizona, WNY transplants so I did catch a number of Coyotes games. I liked Dvoraks speed and puck control. Definitely liked Chychruns poise.
  11. Moving Reinhart........touchy situation. The return should be a top flight LW'er or a 22 - 24 yr old solid #2 d man and a high mid 1st rd pick for starters. He most likely excels at center, based on what I've seen video on him from his Jr. days. I personally would let Arizona re-unite the Duclair, Domi, Reinhart world Jr's line if they gave Dvorak and Chychrun in return.
  12. What about trading 8th to Vegas for 13 & 15. Is the difference in talent enough to hang on to 8?
  13. Hiss boo, I'm switching banks :D Carrier hurts a bit, speedy LH LW'er. I guess Ullmark will be the back up this season. Now what? Trade with the Islanders? With Vegas? When the freeze lifts tomorrow.
  14. They've taken only 2 RHD, the rest are all lefties.Plus, if the suspected moves are made post draft, they'll be cap light. Bogosain, I'd bank on it.
  15. No word on the Sabres. Something has got to be brewing.
  16. Franson, its got to be Franson.....hey, can never have enough depth ;)
  17. Any chance at all Bots does a deal with Vegas for one of these defensemen?
  18. Saw the article where Bots says he's had conversations about moving up, moving down and so on. Any chance we can move up enough to nab Maker?
  19. With all of these "speculated" side deals protecting defensemen it appears to me in any event that Bogo's value both in contract for cap floor as well as 3/4 d man status has his stock as the choice from the Sabers rising fast.
  20. Power play maybe. I still can't fathom why people want one of the better face off centers in the league (ROR) on the wing. It doesn't appear to be the best use of an asset.
  21. Yea, Domi played both center and wing. Surely there will be goalies available. No?
  22. Just looked at the Islanders ED situation. Words out they have a deal with Vegas not to touch their forwards. They left De Haan exposed. Dregger put out there they are working a deal to being in a top 6 forward. Could a Kane for De Haan deal be in the works? Also, what is Arizona going to do with their goalie situation now that Smith is gone? Chad Johnson most likely doesn't get re-signed and they are young LW heavy with Crouse, Perlini, Dvorak, Domi, Martinook and Pulkkinen. Any chance a Lehner deal to Arizona lands one of their LW young guns?
  23. Wouldn't mind Galchenyuk on Jack's LW.
  24. I think its Bogo. They are going to wheel deal a D man they take for picks. Bogo fills a couple of needs for them. His age allows them some experience with talent, his contract allows them cap floor help while the 1st year of their picks that do join the big club over these next 3 years ELC's don't force them to take less desirable contracts. I don't believe their taking any UFA's from us. Why would they when they can wait to July 1st to talk to them anyways. And why protect Beaulieu over Bogosain if there was already a deal in place? I'm not buying it. Nothing reported solid.
