Just my view here, but it would be monumentally stupid to move 21, 22 and a 2nd, or just 21 and 22 to move up for a crap shoot. So, remind me again why we don't at least entertain discussions of Cousins?

I can't say whether he'll be a Sabre next year or not, but, he was a clear standout last summer. Exactly, speed and young hunger are having an impact.

You and I both know its not normal to have an Amerk sitting in the press box on a road trip. Especially with Bots strong acumen in building a stable situation on the farm team. Josefsen was out last game and Baptiste still sat in the press box. I don't recall to many times they did a call up to drag around press box to press box for a 3/4 game swing. Hence, the curiosity. You may very well be right. Seems odd is all. :P

I hadn't realized they called up Amerks players for road trips. Hmmmmm, must have missed that all these years.

Wow, how in the hell can any excuse for this team be justified. Without a doubt the worst Sabres team I've seen in 40 years. Just pull the ..ing trigger already Botterill. Get this show rolling.

After watching Winnipeg it reminded me so much of the 05 to 07 Sabres. With the NHL fluctuating every 5 to 7 years between a heavy game with clutch and grab and a speed skill game, unless Buffalo gets back to that speed game they'll continue to get burned regardless if they have ROR or not. ROR, is he a luxury or a necessity, or, a liability? In my opinion, somewhere between all 3. But he's no leader, but has shown a brief flash or 2 of clutch. Tough call on whether to hang on to him or not. If a deal comes along at the end of next season, when his actual salary drops to 6 mil for the last 4 years of his contract comes along, I wouldn't be opposed to Botterill pulling the trigger.

Lehner doesn't do a lot of things well. Its like watching someone trying to eat chicken noodle soup with a fork.
