They traded down 3 spots in the first to acquire the 43rd pick. That's a major move. They traded said 43rd pick to address bottom 6 need, that's a major move. So.....technically, there wasn't "a" major move, there was 2.

Jeff did well in the role to be sure, but nothin' in at least my lifetime will roll above "The Duke". My grandparents (1922 and 24 birth years) were primary figures in my life. I spent a countless amount of my childhood with them, living with them for 6 out of my first 18 yrs. The golden era of Hollywood, as it's sometimes called, was a staple of my viewings. But ya, Jeff did really good.

Regardless of individuals who know, don't know, know but can't say, say a teaser and nothing more I believe moves are still coming and not small moves. Ruff know what needs to be done and KA, while seemingly unable for whatever reason to fill in the gaps at least these last 2 seasons is not one to telegraph his moves openly. Let's see how the off season plays out before forming the posse, after all, we've had 4 yrs to sharpen our pitchforks and soak our torches in oil under Kevyn. Another 60 days or so isn't going to break us. I hope......

I get it. It is frustrating. And it was just my guess is all. Not being privy to what was said in conversations, if any took place at all, leads at least myself to guess on what actually may have occurred. Of course, we are still a day from fa, so maybe there is a plan in play that needs to play out in early July before we see what Adams is doing, but yea, it is frustrating given the last 13 yrs. Patience isn't just thin with an overwhelming number of the fan base, it's straight out evaporated.

I'm hopeful that quick Pim, but they have all off season to get it done. I can't see them not signing a ufa, and a trade. Both may happen later than 72 hrs, but if Adams is big game hunting, which he better be, the 72 hr window seems reasonable. I'm guessing, but I'm very determined the mindset is like mine in that off season war room. Cross our fingers......

I gave the thumbs up, but fully agree. I've made my bank, 53 now, 54 by years end. The wife wants me out at 60, and I thought on it, but 62/63 is my self imposed cut off age. I want to enjoy life past that and all of the 10/12 hr shifts then going to class afterwards will afford me that. My advice to the young, stop buying in to the arts and social degrees, there's already plenty of them, focus on math. Just my 2 pennies is all.
