  1. Show off 😜
  2. More mature, more experienced team won the game. They use a physical game, the Sabres weakness still. But at least it was close. On to the next......
  3. Concussion? All of us combined can't afford the knee, elbow, groin, dental, jaw reconstruction surgeries 😬
  4. Well, that was entertaining. Especially loved seeing the Tage bombs again. The only thing I didn't like was Quinn being planted well after the play was dead. As others have pointed out, 1 error, we'll get it back and then some. Go Sabres!
  5. This says otherwise........ 🤣
  6. This is where I'd disagree, respectfully. You've all watched as 13 seasons of pure carnage rolled through Sabres nation. Eichel, Reinhardt, ROR, Kane, and so many more....... While the organization was busy grooming players for Cup series we fans here in Buffalo were left to eat the ashes that were left in that disaster. We've accumulated enough "future", or prospects if you will. More than enough. I don't know about ya'll, but I'm tired of waiting for the next waive of youts to collectively try the same old strategy. I'd like to see the organization progress to playoff appearances. Yes, I know it hurts to give up some "future" talent, but you have to give to get as the old adage goes and I'm old and grumpy now. So give it, get it and let's get this ship back in the fight. All views expressed by Scotty are his own, no refunds after 30 days and.........Scotty is calling about your Hockey Teams extended warranty. Make a trade or 2 and let's roll... Go Sabres!!!
  7. I have no issues with opposing point of views when it comes to my opinions. I make the comment, and stand by it.
  8. Not surprising.
  9. I've watched a good deal of Ranger games this past year and a half, Trouba is 100% not what this team needs in my most humbled opinion. He's not the Trouba of his past. Kreider? Ya, he's definitely the solid line 2 player, even at his age and with his contract, we should be somewhat aggressively targeting. You are correct in that his net front presence is exactly what we need. I'd give a roster player for him, Cozens, Quinn, along those lines. Yes I realize we're sacrificing long term for 2.5 seasons, but, let's be candid, not so much yourself but to others that read this. The Sabres cup of near or 2.5 seasons out roster ready youth floweth over. Kreider would be not just a "for wins now" move, he's an example setter by his mere play to be sure. So, it is with that in mind, I'm all aboard that type of move train.
  10. As others have said, Kreider, if the price is reasonable. And by reasonable, I do not mean one of 1st rd prospects currently in our pipeline. I am with Weave, roster player.
  11. This thread is paying dividends, and I like it. More good vibes.
  12. Thank You Lindy Ruff! I Have Hope again.....
  13. Can we play out west more often please
  14. Cozens has been having difficulties with anything resembling consistency for a long long time now. If he hasn't found his game by trade deadline, ya, I'm putting him on the block. Adams? Probably not. But if the goal is to get better, to be a regular for playoffs, Cozens is expendable if he can't figure it out. Just my 2 pennies on it is all.
  15. I know they're probably tired and all, but puck possession is everything. A lesson I see they are glacier slow or straight out refuse to learn. That goal is due to another unforced give away. It's painful to see.
  16. This group needs to respond to the physical play, not just with fighting to stand up for one another, but they need to start laying equally devastating hits. The beatings cannot continue without respones.
  17. Marc Methot put a post out on X about the possibility of an Ottawa core piece possibly being moved if the beatings continue in Ottawa. Who knows, but I can't see them moving Tkachuk unless the piece(s) coming back are cornerstone.
  18. I don't have a choice, the wife and I are at Green Acres animal hospital for our 3 yr old golden, Finley. The breeders vet didn't get all of the front right paws dew claw out, it's infected now as it's attempting to grow back through the paw skin, to such a point his paw ballooned in size. $4000.00 emergency surgery 😞 Go Sabres!
  19. Chiefs @ Bills, love match ups like this. Go Bills!
  20. We had superstar scorers, on the roster, at the same time, and still drafted 1st over all. I'd like both Tkachuk brothers here, like yesterday please.
  21. He's going to finish out the season to be sure. Take a look at the recent insiders saying he's looking for a trade, a big trade. If there's traction in that, and I see no reason why there wouldn't be, he's not going anywhere, at least this season. Terry will most likely let this play out.
  22. Perfect, now we can give Quinn and Byrum those 7.5 mil x 8 year contracts and still have room for a Skinner type 3 yr deal @ 9 mil. Sounds like Adams has a plan.
  23. The other league GM's aren't going to give Buffalo anything significant in a trade. People are dreaming, Adams included. And why would they when all they have to do is wait for players to get sick of it and demand out, in their prime no less. As of right now, Buffalo is a farm team for the league.
