You mean isn’t right? Typo?

I think this award was fan/internet voting only. After all, if they watch ESPN, they know nothing about hockey, and are most likely US citizens. Kind of like Zemgus being an all-star.

Elvis is exempt, and Holtby has a modified NTC. Wouldn’t surprise me if Buffalo is on his list . And it’s a toss up as to whether Risto would be protected over Vancouver’s D.
-
Like who? Of the teams that will most likely lose a goalie (Vancouver, Montreal, Minnesota, Dallas) I can’t see Risto replacing any of the current number three defenseman on the protection list. Maybe Myers in Vancouver.

Toffoli/Suzuki/Cole -9 combined. Owned early. Coach was aggressive at the end of the game playing 5 forwards on the PP.

A writer for the Rangers doesn’t want to give up B level crap. We don’t know what Drury thinks.

Never heard Hamilton call a game before. You would think if he had a knack for it he would have tried to hone the skill in the minors or somewhere instead of his wgr55 gig.

Explain for those in the dark?

Lead singer of U2. Love the music, and the fact these guys have been working together for 45 years nonstop makes me believe their personalities/egos are atypical for rock legends.

Dreger: Expects Sabres Head Coach will be hired next week
Broken Ankles replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
How much does he get paid for the segment on WGR? Anyone with insight? Just want to know what level of robbery we are talking about. Petty larceny, aggravated, or highway. Outside of giving the status on trades, contract terms, or UFA signings 30 minutes before they are released to the news organizations does he offer any value? -
Embarrassed I had to look that one up. Yikes 😬. If we were playing Match Game, and Gene Rayburn asks me “PA programs himself to dream, where he shares a banana split with and then makes love on the beach to Blank”……my answer is Kim Pegula. No match eh?

Is there any reporting that an offer hasn't already been made? And if made, now allowing Reinhart’s agent to discuss terms of an extension with the teams with serious interest. If the concept of the Sabres looking for additional picks (high) in the upcoming draft is accurate, wouldn’t they be moving much faster on this negotiation than his last two contracts that Reinhart signed weeks/months after the draft?

Inside Look into the Past Year of the Sabres Front Office
Broken Ankles replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Three quotes in the article reference identity. The other two are: “Heart, compete, fast skill, but hard skill,” said Adams. “There’s a lot of skilled players out there in the playoffs, but it's a hard skill and willingness to go to the hard areas, just that type of team identity.” and “There absolutely has to be a connectivity in this community, in this town, between what our team looks like and our fan base,” Adams told The Buffalo News during a recent phone interview. “I know every community, every city in the NHL is different. I get all that, but that's needed in this town. We have to get that identity back and it's been lost for quite a while.” I read this as saying the Sabres roster has skill but a lack of “hard skill”. And that the fan base wants sandpaper and grit, which is lacking on this team. It only confirms what has been already surmised, which is Jack and Sam are both gone. And I can see additional personnel with skill, but not hard skill added as sweetener. -
RIP Rene. One of my first autographs ever in 1976. He was my favorite of the French Connection.

Inside Look into the Past Year of the Sabres Front Office

Your team is over the cap, and by a bit if your not giving a two year bridge to Dahlin, Mitts and assuming bridges on Joki, Rasmus III, and Borgen. In addition to this, getting the band back together didn’t work for Jake and Elwood and probably won’t for the 21/22 Sabres. Break it up. -
Almost all Internships are fully paid. Fair market, maybe not but definitely paid.

Off Topic: Vacationing/holidays with extended family??
Broken Ankles replied to miles's topic in The Aud Club
Florida/Disney with cousins and their children. But we love their company. Hawaii with my brother and parents. Napa, Vegas, Grand Canyon with my parents, who are extremely generous and loving grandparents. Would never consider vacationing with any of my wife’s family. Simply because we have nothing in common. I have 6 weeks a year and feel this way. If I only had two weeks, the decision would be that much easier. -
OT - Herb Tarlek follows Greenpeace into the Great Beyond

Jennifer was just eye candy. She was highest paid personnel at WKRP. Bailey, a bobcat in the sack. -

Really impressive production value. Good team to boot. #jelly. I’ll be there next week (no ticket to the game, just vacation). Staying adjacent to the arena. Should be fun.

Another factor to consider is Cap Space. In the pre-Jack there was some high priced AAV's and by the end of 2015, TM rang up an impressive Cap hit of $69.5M against a ceiling of $73M. Leaving only 4% cap space for 2016. Conversely, if we assume Risto, Jack and Sam are not included in the Vet's moving forward, our projected Cap plummets to $33.3M. So while on paper there appears to be more strength in pre vs post, Anders Bjork, Zemgus Girgensons, Casey Mittelstadt, Victor Olofsson, and Tage Thompson along with the prospect of what Jack, Sam and Risto could return coupled with $49.7M in cap space (roughly 60%) changes the narrative. And this space include albatross contracts of Skinner and KO.

Robinson, Coffey, Lidstrom, and Josh Morrissey. #cornerstone.

Did you buy that at O’Connel Lucas and Chelf circa 1986? I have one in green 😉.

The second option. I was smoking when i provided a possible trade scenario earlier but in my defense it was a mild sativa so I stand by what I wrote. Lots of people on this board are setting themselves up for disappointment. I’m preparing for the worst, and hopefully surprised. Jack is damaged goods defined.
