  1. There are many SabreSpacers sitting at home thinking … Took me watching Risto with Philly before I got there.
  2. Sabres outshot 13-5 in the period. You got one point, PROVE to me you have changed.
  3. Shakir maybe listed as slot, but he is WR#1. Might need Cooper next week but as long as the safety blanket is active Sunday I’m good.
  4. Not real. An Illusion. Didn’t you see the expected goals for/against? Is it possible @Idemo Buffalo hacked your account? The positivity has me baffled.
  5. Gilbert. And yes, I agree his physicality is welcomed. His former club (Calgary) is coming to town Saturday, so pencil him in for at least one more start. Hopefully Muel is stewing in the press box.
  6. Sabres completely being outplayed according to Moneypuck. Expected goals only .62.
  7. The top 4 makes sense, and leads me to believe in the algorithm. Number 5 - ahhhh not so much. He and #7 just received a night in the press box for what I assume can only be based on recent play. McLeod, Greenway and Zucker have been solid in my opinion. Agree with the sentiment from others Quinn and Cozens have struggled so their low numbers also make sense.
  8. Even after hiring John Parry to helping on these type of plays McD still makes a bad decision to challenge.
  9. At least it’s not blocked? Trying to find a positive.
  10. Something has to be done….can’t continue with these mistakes
  11. I like how Zucker is playing but JJP puts that pass in the back of the net.
  12. I’ll say 4 - JJP, Greenway and Zucker (surprisingly) bring their lunch pale each night as well as Tage. But I agree overall with your point. Just can’t win like that.
  13. Thanks Punch. You always did know how to motivate your players. Let’s hope Lindy hasn’t forgotten how to either. I’m on the bandwagon for some healthy scratches (plural) after last night performance.
  14. And I’m watching this game, why? Sunk-Cost fallacy? K.
  15. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to see the Jets make a comeback and beat Houston….But you gotta love the Jet nation meltdown. Good thing they have a top 3 QB on the field to help (32 yards passing) 😏
  16. Dysfunction junction what’s your function? Debilitating coaches, players and General Managers Dysfunction junction how’s that function? I’ve got three simple ways to help you lose your love for game. Dysfunction junction what’s their function? I’ve got Tim, Jack and ROR, they’ll get you very far.
  17. I love the SAT formatted question…. Let’s expound. ‘Stoner’ posts are to SabreSpace as…….
  18. Literally the equivalent of a parking ticket for us.
  19. And a far superior o-line than they have had in years.
  20. So true. If he plays against Houston, the Bills most likely win.
  21. Questions for you. 1. Are you worried that removing JJP from FL#1 would affect their scoring? And that the expected bump to line #2 would not equal or surpass the decline to the top line? 2. Who is the recommended replacement for JJP on the top line? I think Greenway is playing great but can you have two lumbering forwards playing w/ Tage? 3. Why not promote McLeod to 2C and play with JJP and Quinner? Seems like Quinn would do well to play with more speed, not less. And he still gets the benefit of a JJP reunion. In other words, don’t you have to see if the problem is Cozens, not Quinn?
  22. I agree with almost all of this except Cozens. Maybe I’m looking for his faults. I just don’t see too many positives. Missing an ENG, not finishing multiple checks, losing face offs at a furious rate, more shots to the pads, etc. Corsi numbers were OK but again Ruff played McLeod and third line more in 5v5 than Cozens and the second line.
