What the **** happened to the Sabres I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? This could be the greatest Power Play of our lives, but you're gonna let it be the worst! 'Ooh, we're afraid to go with you, Bluto, we might lose.' Well, just kiss my a— from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this! Matt Ellis he's a dead man, Appert dead, Wilford..." You know this guy went on to marry a playmate and become a US Senator?

You are a man of the people Punch. I had you pegged for a luxury suite. I am with you and others about the benching of Mule. Messages need to be sent. Plus I want to see the sandpaper and grit of Gilbert tonight. Although I’m watching tape delayed as my son and I are flying in to Buffalo from the west coast and don’t land until 10pm. We'll be there to see them play the Dallas Stars. Must Win.

What plan did you get? I checked that and did not see NHL network. Was it a premium?

Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch
Broken Ankles replied to Sabres Fan in NS's topic in The Aud Club
The Tragically Hip documentary - No Dress Rehearsal is just outstanding. If you are a fan of the band you will enjoy this effort by director Mike Downie (Gord’s brother). It’s a four part series with the final episode chronicling the passing of Gord. The doc is streaming on AMZN prime. -
This is why I subscribe. Great reconnaissance on the subject @That Aud Smell. I’ve been outspoken about my ambivalence towards the Sabres broadcast team, but damn it they should be there for me to have a choice not to listen.

This is a question Adams needs to answer. Hopefully Hammy or other journalists who glean this site for ideas reads this and asks it to Kev directly.

Cozens is terrible on the PK and should not be out there.
Broken Ankles replied to mjd1001's topic in The Aud Club
Why wouldn’t he be? He had more TOI last year than Greenway did on the PK. (214 vs 194). Not great results per 60, as noted above, but I can’t see a reason why he isn’t one of the top 4 forwards going forward. Beck even played the PK last night. Maybe Ruff just wanted to see Cozens for himself. I’m no fan of him, Tage, or Quinn playing those minutes. -
I do not like Owen and Bo. I would not like to see them grow. I WOULD NOT LIKE THEM HERE OR THERE. I WOULD NOT LIKE THEM ANYWHERE. Would you like them away from our house? Would you play them against Lawson Crouse? Will they skate themselves into the Box? Can they shut down Adam Fox? Would you could you against the Stars? Play them, play them, there they are. Would you, could you wearing the Goat? I will not, please don’t is my quote. I would not could not under Lindy’s reign Do you have a beef with Owen’s Mane? I do not like Owen and Bo. split them, split them, that’s fo-show.

How did I know you were yanking our chains? Matt Ellis would not use Zoom. Too popular. Skype is the Matt Ellis of video conferencing platforms.

My Dad bought two for Dallas in October. Flying in to see my parents mid month and hoping to see Buffalo get retribution for the beat down the Stars gave them at home in March 2023. I was there for that one and it was U-G-L-Y.

Johnny Gaudreau and Brother Matthew Killed by Drunk Driver
Broken Ankles replied to aristocrat's topic in The Aud Club
Thoughts and prayers to the Guadreau family. I can’t help but contemplate my youth when poor decisions like the one last night to get behind the wheel were made by me. What is the reason there wasn’t a pedestrian to a bicyclist there at the time? Why was I never in an accident even though I risked it dozens of times. I have not had a drink in 25 years but I feel the guilt of a senseless loss of life. -
The average NFL team appreciated 10% last year. So TPegs net value of the Bills grew between 350 and 400 million dollars in one year. Not even factoring the growth of his other assets. And yet he can’t spend $8m more on this team. Incomprehensible.

I have ESPN +, but local Duck games are subject to blackout. The regional sports package (Lakers/Kings/Dodgers/etc) was costing $16/month with Direct TV. I was easily paying $120-$150/month with the Sunday ticket, Centre Ice and the regional sports fees. After the NFL moved to Yahoo, I changed how I access everything. Which meant no local sports. What’s interesting is that with all the cord cutting, the Ducks (and others - Dallas and Florida) are forced to sign less lucrative deals in hopes of expanding their market by offering free access. Should be an interesting experiment.

Dream analytics courtesy of Chat GPT “Your dream is quite fascinating and layered, blending elements of sports, punishment, and personal responsibility in a surreal way. Let's break it down: Playing for the Sabres: This may represent a desire to be part of a team or achieve a certain status, especially if you're a fan of the Sabres. It could also symbolize being in a competitive situation in your life. The Penalty: The fact that the dream skips the actual penalty and starts afterward might suggest feelings of uncertainty or confusion about a situation you're involved in. The idea that your stick was caught in the boards might represent feeling stuck or restricted in some way. The Death Penalty: This extreme punishment could reflect a fear of severe consequences or the pressure of taking on a big responsibility. The fact that you're the one who has to carry out the penalty might symbolize a feeling of being unfairly burdened or forced to take action in a situation you’re not comfortable with. The Goalie on the Sofa: A goalie is usually a symbol of defense or protection, so having the goalie sit down and be vulnerable could indicate a role reversal or a moment where you see something that’s usually strong as weak. The small sofa could signify a confined space or a situation where there's no escape. The PowerPoint Projector: This odd object might represent a tool of communication or projection of ideas. It could suggest you're trying to "illuminate" or reveal something about the situation or about yourself, even if you're unsure how to do it. The Ending: The dream ending before the act is carried out could symbolize a sense of relief or avoidance of an unwanted responsibility. It might reflect your desire to avoid a situation that feels too heavy or unjust.” Freud would simplify down to one meaning. Especially coupled with your screen name -latent homosexual feelings.

Get a VPN like Nord or Express and stream Paramount Plus. Not a guarantee to get each game, but you should be able to find a server to access the local market game in a city that broadcasts the game. I think I was able to access all but two games played on CBS last year and it cost me about $8/month.

How high were you that night? JK, outdoor shows can add a unique element that you just can’t get inside. In addition to Artpark, SPAC, Red Rocks and the Hollywood bowl always seemed to generate a welcoming ambiance and energy, regardless of the artist.
