Will say this. I’m tired of the national media bringing up the Sabres as a team others are targeting. On 32 Thoughts today, Friedman mentioned Pittsburgh as a team that may try and pry. Hockey trades only. No picks. No prospects. Harrington was on After The Whistle this week and kept saying that Adams needs to be fired immediately. He’s not competent and absolutely cannot make another franchise altering deal. Rarely do I agree with him but he’s absolutely right. Before any trades are made there needs to be a total front office overhaul. Hopefully this front office is gone before Four Nations. (Yes, I know this is not happening but a guy can dream)

Hot take, a loss tonight should lead to the end of this entire front office’s time with the organization.

When Eichel wanted to do the alternate neck surgery, do you think it was ultimately Terry that said no? My guess is it was him. From a risk perspective, I can understand it. But when it’s already tough to acquire free agents and get off no trade lists, I feel like he needed to give in. Frankly I think that entire situation gave them a pretty big black eye as far as optics. Feel like there needed to be a forest through the trees mentality in that scenario.

I know this is crazy. But the whole “playoffs or bust” is going to be nothing but lip service.
