  1. I would take Anderson off the list due to injuries. I'd take Bertuzzi, although I like Tuch also and he's locked up on a reasonable contract. However, I wouldn't trade Sam straight up for any of them and would prefer to ADD one of them to the present roster.
  2. When you're in the middle of the ocean sinking and there's no help in sight anywhere, there's not much you can do , other than overload the lifeboats and watch them sink too. Maybe throw a life preserver at someone in shark infested waters.
  3. I think the issue with Skinner not playing on Jack's line is that he's not given the space he needs to be effective. Teams keying on Jack gave Skins more room to operate.
  4. I'll do it for you.....Jack has a 4pt night and if Linus is in net Sabres win 6-2.
  5. I'm not too worried about him sinking the ship. I think his being sent down sends a message to the others....work hard or this could be you!!! I don't think Tails will put up with him for long and will bench him if he feels it's necessary.
  6. Shout out to @Eleven for his work of art and Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays to all.
  7. I won't care if he reaches 260 lbs if he as good as Byfuglien or his bloodlines.
  8. 10th in the conference and 21st in the league, sooo...maybe by the All-Star break?
  9. What good will it do to turn Sam into Vesey and vice versa? You still end up with the same product on the ice, nothing better.
  10. Disagree. We're not gonna re-call Mitts to play on a line with Z and Asplund. I know I said "just one injury" but I meant where Mitts "should" fit in. Lazar is a good fit there.
  11. As I see it, if we take Sam off Jack's line we only have 2 players to replace him that would likely benefit "enough" from playing with Jack to make up for moving Sam....Skinner and Johansson. Then you will lose Sam's production as well. I don't see it doing any good and think "adding" another player to the roster is the real answer, such as a true 2C or another good wing.
  12. He's sitting in Roch thinking that just one injury and we need to call him up. Let him play in Cincy and earn his way to Roch. So far there's no evidence that he's even taking the move to Roch seriously.
  13. I think his problems are all between the ears. Low hockey IQ and attitude. Not knowing how to read plays and get into (or create) scoring chances and he's always had a cocky way about him. I don't think Rochester is the answer and he needs a reality check being sent down to Cincy.
  14. Put him with Johansson and Asplund.
  15. Not beer but have you tried this yet... https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.delish.com/food-news/amp30285936/what-is-chewbacca-frappuccino-starbucks/ I don't do Starbucks but this looks tempting.
  16. Casey's Nickleodeon?
  17. Last nights game should have put another diamond in Jack's MVP crown.
  18. It's obvious that we just need Jack after last nights debacle.
  19. In today's analytical world? How many pull-ups can you do? How many times a player had to turn his head and cough in the last week? And, what's the teams record during the annual parents trip? What's the difference between tough and physical? Did the NHL get the point streak rules right? What do you mean by "you guys"? How many snowflakes fell yesterday? They're all important. Oh, and because Buffalo...the NHL will stick by this rule and it will become the "Eichel Rule". I still contend that Rayzor was gentle soul and only trying to give Domi the shirt off his back, LOL
  20. There is no "T" in Sabres.
  21. Absolutely agree. Seems like our "generational" players have to fend for themselves or hope that Delilah doesn't get a hold of Samson's locks.
  22. It's the Hasek Syndrome....knowing that you'll never meet the standards here in WNY.
  23. Scott would probably take a pass....he already had a near death experience.
