I think you are mis-reading what was proposed. The proposed deals were Bogo to Carolina to get back our 3rd and the other deal was to trade Vesey and Risto to Vegas getting a 3rd rounder plus back in the deal. Those deals are done now and the picks used in the off season to make the other deals in which we relinquish those picks again. So, we are obtaining those picks to be used later.

I wouldn't worry about that so much as the fact that we have NO goalie. LOL

This is what concerns me about this coming off season with what JBot has to work with. Can he do enough to appease the fan base AND give some help to the roster to push us forward? With questions as to "who would want to sign here" and what quality of players are available at the right price. RFA signings and such. Setting up for the expansion too. Might he have to take a smaller step than we would like because of these questions?

I think there's a huge difference in SS and the places like youtube and the likes. Most posters here are at the least some what knowledgeable about the topic at hand and have an opinion on it and back it up with some facts. The other thing is that they seem more genuine in their beliefs/ opinions and have some input on how to achieve what they desire....whether everyone agrees or not is aside. They may hope to warrant a future "I told you so" but it's far less than what eating tide pods or licking toads might attempt to accomplish.

Yeah, let's deflect to the summer and what Sam will make. Those "other guys" are making almost the same as Sam right now and aren't producing any where near what he is. That's the reason for variance in icetime and the fact that Sam might still be here next season and the others not so likely.

I would tend to think that any "custom" equipment would have to be approved by someone....the team, NHL office, etc. This also could take time if there are any questions involved.
