I teach, have the summer off. I went in today to get some printing done for a job interview tomorrow, as my laptop cord is broken and I didn't want to run down the charge on the battery. Not only is the copy machine broken/working intermittedly with no time table for repairs, but the summer program used my classroom for squid dissections this morning! And yes the smell was still there. Oh, and it turned out my laptop cord decided to work today after all. ?

I know when I student taught under a neglectful, abusive supervisor, I was completely demoralized and overthinking, and it took forever to get back the confidence I needed to do the job right, even after working under several later, and more competent, mentors. Sometimes brain spiders just don't go away at the drop of a hat.

There's been too much optimism around here. We need to get this place back to the "Because Buffalo" hot takes we all know and love. If Girgensons is here for another year, he'll be checked out moreso than Kane was just before the deadline. Same with Baloo, assuming either of them make the roster.
