I get the feeling some of the anti-tank folks are clinging to the "only 25% chance" of getting the top pick as part of the reason. Pick #2 lands a great player also and I suspect that's occasionally overlooked.

I think it's longer term, not more money. 8 years for current team vs. 7 years max for any other team.

I also think Miller is smart enough to understand that trade then re-sign is better than simply re-signing. Call it the kesaH trade - "trade me for as much as possible".

I've been meaning to post this for whoever hasn't thought to do it already, and this is as good a thread as any. If you want the Sabres schedule and scores to be added to your iPhone calendar: Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Other > Add Subscribed Calendar. In the Server field, enter http://sabres.nhl.com/schedule/full.ics and click "next" Delete the "2013-2014" part of the Description (since the calendar will continue to work in future seasons) (Turn on "Remove Alarms" if you don't want an alert 15 minutes before each game) Click Save The schedule will be added to your calendar, and shortly after they're played the scores will show up (in a non-intrusive way for those that watch on time delay) Surely this works for other smartphones as well.

Haven't seen a video online yet. It wasn't during the line brawl to start the game. There's this that claims Kassian eye gouged Bouma but it's only 8 seconds long and it was just after this video that the linesman tied up Bouma and Kassian gave him a couple shots.

Oh boy what a mess this Flames/Canucks game is. (Nothing new that I know of just catching up DVR delay) Kassian opened up Bouma with a couple shots to the mush while the linesman was holding Bouma's arms then later getting a misconduct for a dead puck dustup. Torts going nuts in the hallway beginning the intermission.
