i was unable to watch it on the NHL.tv. all of the game links were inactive. i ended up going to sleep frustrated . meh

sometimes a single player can make a world of difference. i am not saying that will happen here, but it can. before i got married i was a huge baseball fan. i loved the red sox and never missed a game (almost literally, i missed like 5 in the whole season). in 2004 the red sox were a good team but were missing something, and they really could not string together a lot of wins. the trade deadline comes and they get orlando cabrerra. all of a sudden they seemed to click. orlando cabrerra was the spark the team needed. he wasnt anything special really, but they did much better when he joined the team. i am hoping that is the case here. Probably not, but i am still hopeful.

i think kane is going to be gone, but not next to go. i think they will wait until deadline to trade him. i would love them to get tavares strait up for him (if they can extend).

i hate to say this but for the first time in a long time, i am finding it hard to watch the sabers. the game last night i didnt even bother to tune in because i knew they werent going to win. i am going to continue to follow them, but i really hope they can turn it around. its such a shame the direction this team has gone. sabres fans deserve better than they have been getting i think.

i call a 3 to 1 win by the sabres with eichel scoring 2. one of them being an empty net

i thought the sabres played good until they didnt. when they didnt it seemed like they just gave up? i dont know. its like they are 2 different teams in the same game

this will be my last negative post on the goaltending because i dont want to sound like a broken record (nearly all of my non-joke posts are goaltender hating up to now). the sabres need to do some kind of change in net. you cant expect to win giving up 3 to 4 goals per game. they seem to give up that many in most of his games and it only because of the silly amount of scoring the sabres do that they have the few wins that they have. other than the 1-0 win they had a couple of nights ago, there has been silly high scores. if this team could get a real goaltender and a couple of good defense minded defenseman i think the team could be great. lehner will give up a goal on any shot not headed directly at him. i honestly think its time to cut bait and move on. whether it be by bringing up ullmark and giving him a shot or by trade. do you think its possible to trade kane for a really good goaltender or not really.

i foresee a win. 3-1

i think they should try to trade him to the islanders for tavares assuming they can get a contract extension.
