My very first experience with hockey dates back to hasek. I live in nj, and started watching an islanders game on TV. I forgot who they played. The next game they played the Sabres. I assumed I was going to be an islanders fan before then. I watched them play the Sabres and hasek made wild save after even more wilder saves. It was that moment I started rooting for the Sabres. I was only able to watch when the played the devils, islanders, rangers or flyers. hasek was the reason I fell in love with hockey. I was never more upset with a team then when he was traded

I really enjoyed the last 2 periods of play. The first was reminiscent of last season. It was a fun game to watch, even without the win. Ullmark is one of my favorite guys on the team and he played quite well I think. Obviously you cant give up 4 and expect to win but he made some nice saves. I mentioned in a different thread, the Sabres historically did bad after losses. I'm hoping that they can put this behind them and play like they did in the first 2 games

I live in nj. Central nj, so I'm in flyers and devils territory. however I was wearing my Sabres shirt at the super market and 2 people came to talk to me about the Sabres. one was from buffalo The Sabres are making people talk...I just wish not to me, I'm really not friendly

Unfortunately the game was blacked out for me. I was very disappointed to be honest. Glad to hear he is with the big team already

I just looked at the Sabres roster and its showing Luukkonen. Are the sabres running with 3 goaltenders

I think it is way too early to tell. However I will say this, putting it bluntly. the last couple of years the Sabres looked like a slow, disorganized and generally disinterested team. This season they look terrific so far. They look well coached. They look faster than I have seen in a while and in general seems to be playing harder. Obviously they will not win every game. I'm most interested in seeing how they react when losing. That was when they fell apart last years

man, i am so bummed. the game is blacked out for me and it looks like a winner.

When I was in high school I was in wrestling and was quite in shape and I did a lot of weight lifting. I was able to do about 15 pull ups or so I severely broke my ankle and had to stop wrestling. my senior year I lost weight and was pretty skinny. Maybe 145 pounds at 6,1. I was able to do way more pull ups and the gym teacher said to stop because I had hit the limit of what they recorded. because i was very thin it was very easy for me vs when I was in wrestling and heavier. However I was much stronger when I was wrestling. What I'm getting at, I dont believe that pullups really mean anything.

I'm going to trust Kruegar 's decisions. I like what he had to say in his press conference and the way the team played was incredible. If That means mckabe plays all the time then so be it

I'm still so excited from last nights game. It was such a dominant performance all around. The played defensively well, offensively coordinated and the goaltender came up big when needed. It was not something I have seen from the Sabres in a long time

i like kruegar since his first press conference. i really liked what he had to say. this team looks like a completely different team. i hope this continues, but they looked like a completely dominant team

really enjoyable so far. pitts looked asleep at the beginning, but im really enjoying what i am seeing. they look terrific

loving so far what im seeing. the team is really playing great. i have a good feeling about this season

I'm really looking forward to the season. I truly like the team this year. I think Kruger is going to do a good job and I really enjoy the press conference he has done
