As someone who was incredibly passionate about star wars I will say this about the last jedi in why I didnt like it 1. Luke had a completely different personality than in the ot. (Original trilogy). He was a caring person who wanted to help people and until the last scenes he was a person who stopped happening and was a defeatist 2. Rey was able to pick up being a jedi so easily. she had no real struggles in tlj. Nothing for her to over come 3. Everything that was setup by jj Abrams was ignored by rian Johnson and felt completely disjointed 4. Snoke was easily defeated and wasnt a factor even though he was built up as the new main enemy, see #3. Han solo movie was way better, but still not great. The woodie Harrilson character said one thing and contradicted himself 1 second later. I'm talking about the part where he said to han not to trust people and then woodies girlfriend dies and it's the opposite. I'm having trouble explaining it. I liked the Darth maul tie in at the end, but if you dont know the star wars cartoon series you wouldn't understand it.

I am really glad they are back on the east coast. I didn't get to see the live games in the west coast and I knew the score when I did watch, which makes it less exciting

I am very excited about the news. I have always enjoyed watching great goaltenders more than great scorers. I Hope he does really well and come up this year. As much as I like ullmark, I think upl is the real deal. I dont see him becoming a starter for a couple of years still but its been a while since the Sabres had a (potential) super star in goal night in and night out

I'm with you on this. I understand he is good but he is hurt too often to make it so they have to hold a roster spot for him. I think there was a stat posted that he was in 63% of the games. Which is not enough for high paid player like him. I know he has no trade value at this point so the Sabres are stuck with the bad contract. Plus he hasn't worked with the players in practice so it will take him a bit of time to get going once he does get healthy. When The team is garbage like they were, it didn't matter because they were not going to the playoffs. this team as of now feels like a winner

I think with the last two movies being generally disliked that they need this to be a success. I believe if its another failure, Kathleen Kennedy will be working elsewhere. I think that they need to start over after this. Do a different timeline like the Old republic or something 1000 years in the future. Rehashing the emperor feels like a poor attempt at regaining the original trilogy fans that they lost. They truly need a new idea during a different timeline. as long as you can compare new characters old to new as being a 1 to 1, it will be called a rehash. At this point, I wont pay to see this movie in the theater. after the few movies, I am honestly over star wars at this point. it's a shame because it was truly a passion of mine before Disney bought it.

I used to be a huge baseball fan. I will never forget the red Sox signed a pitcher named Bronson Arroyo to a new multi year deal. he gave them a home town discount to stay with the Sox. It was like a month later they traded him to Cincinnati. I would not put a lot of weight into the buy a house comment. By this is that there will be no loyalties to any player. If there is a good deal to be made they will do it, regardless of what they just said to the media

Honestly I think scandella is the odd man out. I dont think risto gets traded since he seems happy now that they are winning. Scandella is ufa after this season and could get a 3rd round pick maybe a halfway decent minor league player Although someone here suggested montour gets traded away to the jets I dont see jokiharju being sent down. He is playing too good. The defense is really good right now, I would hate to see it changed.

I really enjoy watching olofsson. He is really fun to watch and I think he will get better opportunities 5v5 soon enough. Wasn't eichel 's goals primarily in pp situations too. Maybe 2 years ago. I don't remember specifically

Sheary scored 2 goals in 1 game and got hurt, I think he cant be included in this. Erod I think has been in just 2 or 3 games, so I dont think you can say anything on him either, however I feel he played really well defensively in the last game. That really just leaves mittlestadt and vesey. I dont think either is playing bad enough to outright release and I dont know if either has a two way contract. I think the idea if bringing up Thompson might be a nice idea because he is a big guy and could clear out and be a pest in front of the goal with his size. I would prefer him over erod, but erod will go back down as soon as sheary is back. I think Thompson stays down this season unless someone falls apart or gets hurt. Mittlestadt is still young. I think he is going to be similar to reinhart where it takes him several years to make an impact . I'm not sold on reinhart either to be honest. he was a number 2 pick, but I feel like he is not really a #1 line guy (not supposed to number lines anymore but it's what I mean)

It really seems like GMTM completely wrecked this team to get the pick for McDavid. I suppose it all worked out cause sabres got eichel and dahlin from the trainwreck. I suspect without the tank, maybe sabres don't have either By wrecked I mean didn't just get rid of good players, but also made bad contracts that the sabres are still dealing with

Who is the odd man out when montour is back. Risto traded? I would rather have risto vs scandella What about bogo. Is he supposed to be back this season?

I was able to start it from the beginning and I was able skip commercials and intermission. so much fun. Great game. Very fun to watch
