We’ve spent a lot of draft capital on defense and the entire secondary is shambles. That’s my bigger concern. The receivers we drafted are okay. Not terrible, but not HOF either. It’s okay for now, always a few available in FA

I will say, as much positive as McDermott brings, the defense was abysmal this year. That’s his talent scouting and his system. Maybe he does need to go. Careful what I wish for he ended the drought, but these are prime Allen years

Refs weren’t so bad second half. Defense at least stepped up and made it a game. Couldn’t get those 1 yd plays which doomed them. They should’ve been out of the game in the 1st quarter and they hanged on. But god why the Chiefs. Not sure what this team was supposed to accomplish with that secondary. Needed more Cook this game. Bills just had more rushing yards than passing yards against the number one run defense. Talk about punching them in the throat. Was a weird game from our perspective probably in part because we never do something like that

This is the UFA veteran every team wants. Don’t let him go. Tricky part is finding a few more like him rather than the imposters

With Greenway the team looked great. Energized every shift Without Greenway we look meek, lose confidence as games go on, etc. I don’t think we lack top end talent. I think we lack the complimentary pieces that give the skill players breathing room. And on a team as thin on talent in that regard it couldn’t handle losing someone like Greenway. These are Lindy’s blue collar heroes and he doesn’t have them on this roster

He’s been aggressive on 4th for years He took a timeout after four egregious give up plays by the defense and put a stop to it. At least he knows it’s a mental thing he has control over- just can’t do it when it’s important

We have a fourth liner in Tuch as our first line captain. A second line center as our 1C. We have 1oa defenseman picks who play like a 4th round pick. You have a half dozen small forward kids with zero confidence. Yeah everything is going to look bad and it’s a talent problem. We had a leadership problem when we had talent, shipped out the talent, finally fixed coaching but the talent is already gone. No veterans to pave the way. but whoever is doing our PP needs to go.
