  1. Thank you for posting. Perhaps the greatest orchestra in the world.
  2. I see your Love for Three Oranges and raise you Romeo & Juliet But actually, as a child of the 90s, my goal song would have to be:
  3. Let's not get ahead of ourselves 😛
  4. At first glance, at least Anderson seems to have functional vision
  5. Do we know: does Dr. Capuccino oppose the ADR surgery for Jack because of potential injury playing hockey post-op?
  6. Wow, they figured out how to not clip a signal. Only took 20 minutes.
  7. Guess we found out where the Pegula's found some savings: Production crew
  8. I couldn't have skated that fast... ...but I wouldn't have missed that shot...
  9. Ring the bell Aaron Dell "Mr. Anderson" We are in for a season of lameness.
  10. Whenever RJ get's excited/starts raising his voice about a play, he always stops whatever tangent/conversation is happening and describes EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING, IMMEDIATELY. Whenever Dunleavy sees something exciting, he just STARTS SHOUTING, CONTINUING WHATEVER RANDOM TANGENT IS ON HIS MIND, SO WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HE'S EXCITED ABOUT/WHAT JUST HAPPENED. Some are just not cut out for this job.
  11. That was Krueger, not Eichel/Hall 😜
  12. I got bored after a few minutes; it became background to playing my guitar and online chess. Let's see if this period is better. Last year we were watching Eichel and Taylor Hall.
  13. Has it not started? Or is it my feed not working?
  14. Yeah, what 20-something millionaire would want to be in NY, LA, or Vegas? 😛
  15. I think he will not be quite ready when the season starts, but be able to play within a few months, and will do so as a Sabre. Whether or not he is traded, I will not say (I want him to stay so I'm not going to send "trade" energy into the universe 😛 ), but I think other teams will feel more comfortable with KA's ask when they see Jack back on the ice.
  16. Nope. We're keeping him, stripping him of the "C," and putting him on the 4th line
  17. Apparently you missed his fight
  18. I'm counting on your bolded. Assuming the Sabres have some playoff runs in the next couple of years, I have to hope Rick would be open to multiple guest appearances. And to that end- that recent game when Jim Lorentz dropped by was magical.
  19. You seem to be taking what I said in a very black-and-white, all-or-nothing, blatant type of way. This is not about "pushing a star player to a big market"—this is about making sure a star player gets on the ice as soon as he can, in whatever situation allows that to happen. And, actually, all owners benefit from this.
  20. True. Another part of the equation (which, frankly, we are not privy to) is whether Jack playing for another team would get Jack on the ice sooner. As far as getting risky surgery, as my contact put it: don't count on the NHL to do the thing that's best for the player, but rather, best for the NHL. At the same time, of course, the NHL does not want Jack Eichel's career to end early, but from what I've heard, many in the field think the disk replacement is a viable option.
  21. You're reading this too narrowly. It may not have anything to do with "promoting stars," as you would interpret that. It could merely be those close to the commissioner, etc., having more influence on the situation than people realize. It could also involve the commissioner shaping things according to whatever particular vision he has (which you may or may not perceive as "promoting stars"). He has the power to do this surreptitiously, and has people more than willing to help him carry it out. You don't have to believe me, but I choose to believe someone who's worked in several franchise front offices for over the past decade +.
  22. Would be lying if I said I'm not teary-eyed. RJ, you gave me some of the greatest memories of both my childhood and my college years.
  23. I would not say it excludes it, but I get your point.
