Last period of game 3 of a 4-game western swing. Seen a young mate go down. One goal lead. The older vets have to lead these young guys back into the game and secure the win. I got no problem with the 2nd period, but this is the one that counts.

Last year's Sabres loss all 4 games to the Panthers with a 22-11 goal disadvantage. The kids hung pretty good today.

Sabres all in all did well. These future Panther games look like they can get rough. The guys and coaches got some work to do, especially on the PP. They young guys know they are getting the minutes now and need to find their respective roles.

Sabre going toe to toe with Panters in the fast-paced Florida game there for a while. You didn't see that for a number of years.
