  1. Next year's roster is a long way away. Let's get him a reasonably good look for the rest of this year. I have to say you don't go back-to-back with him tonight. Let me have the road game in Florida and see how he handles playing against his drafting team. Evaluate where he is after that. Treat him like any other goalie in this situation. If he's hot you play him until the playoff spots are decided. Then you play him for the experience after that.
  2. Sabre shooters can beat Allen.
  3. I just texted that to the brothers and nephews!
  4. OTT up on the swamp cats 1-0.
  5. I got to admit that was not what I thought the OP would be for tonight's GDT. Well Done! Tonight's game is a Yoda one, Do or Do Not, There is No Try. Sounds funny, but I bet he is not the only one of these players feeling this. That includes guys like Skinner too, who never seen a playoff game. Need 2 vets with playoff experience next year one on both sides of the blue line. I'm a broken record on this.
  6. LOL, I know that has sarcasm in it, but it's what I think is missing. For the forwards it can be an experienced guy for the bottom 6. For the D, I am going to hope it's a 2nd paired D-man that would cost some decent money. Be great if both had some good PK experience! I can HOPE, even at my age!
  7. I know losing like this to the Bruins is gut-wrenching and brings out the poison in everyone, but I don't see it as dark as a lot of fans. Yes, it's a young team and they had some good play for good stretches this season. I feel things unraveled when Dahlin and Tuch got injured. Then there was a rotation of injured players. Took the confidence out of the team. The D is a weakness along with goaltending and PK. It all added up to this. For all the criticism, the Sabres are 3rd in scoring but have a -5 goal differential. Once again, that is the story. After this loss, the players got to know that the playoffs are a distant hope, and they have to loosen up again. Next season they have to bring in a vet on both sides of the blue line who has some good playoff experience. I leave it at that and go back to yelling at my TV!
  8. There is the possibility that the coaches tell players to do things and they just don't do it.
  9. If Devon is looking good in practice start him on the road (Sabre better on the road than home) against the Islanders Saturday. Doesn't give him the pressure of the home crowd with unrealistic expectations. If they do want him to start at home, the Canadiens next week would probably be best.
  10. I'm stuck home on St Pats Day sick. Boys got to give more entertainment than this.
  11. Thanks for that positive post. I'm depressed so far.
  12. My feed is 30 seconds behind. I read your post and said, damn.
  13. Simple and to the point. I like that!
  14. That hurt. Kissed their cousin with the point.
