    I want them to trade Shady and Matthews. Keep the defense and Oline so that they tank effectively, but next year could come in and have a new QB, Wrs, Rb, Also, I would be fine with trading Clay. Put Peterman in at Qb and see what you've got.

    Gaines really isn't much bigger than Darby. Unfortunately both Gaines and Matthews are in the last year of their contracts as well, and may not stay.

    ^^^^^^I really like the second idea, but don't care for the first. We could also move Guhle up to take Bogo's spot. The only problem with that roster is the 4th line. it is TERRIBLE. My preffered lineup would probably look like this: Pouliout-Eichell-Okposo Duchene-ROR-Babtiste? Kane-Reinhart-Pomminstein Moulson-Girgesons-Fasching

    My preffered lineup: Pouliout-Eichel-Babtiste Bailey-ROR-Okposo Kane-Reinhart-Pomminstein Girgensons-Larsson-Moulson/Fasching I would like to sign Vanek and have him take Pouliot's spot, and slide Pouliout down to Bailey's spot. If Nylander was truly ready, he could work as the 2nd line LW instead of signing Vanek.

    Because we have lost 3 LWs this offseason and have done little to replace them. We signed Pouliot but that leaves 2 spots and there is a chance that 2 young guys will not be ready for Lw in the NHL. I would like an insurance plan.

    #sign Vanek. Going by this, it looks like you have Larsson and Josefson locked as your #3 and #4 centers. I don't think I like Josefson on Buffalo. I think he fits better in Rochester.

    Yes, I am tired of losing. However, with this current roster, I do not see us making it far into the playoffs unless everything goes perfectly like it never does. His idea is decent. If we were to focus on the roster for 19-20 or 20-21, and trade all those for prospects from the first or second rounds, and getting an immense amount of talent down the road to be a cup contender. We already have our franchise player, now we just need the right surrounding cast.

    I must say, I did like the old one better, namely because of the whole right side which is now missing.

    Man, why couldn't we have won the lottery last year? We would have by far the best center group in the league. Eichel, ROR, Matthews, Reinhart, Larsson, Girgs. Girgs/Reinhart at wing and/or trade one of the 6.

    Having O'Reilly as the 3rd line center is definitely intriguing. I think that I would like to see this happen as I see ROR as less dependent on his wingers being good, because he makes them better. Also, Pominville+ROR should get us a bunch of points. Also I like Kane with Reinhart.
