Doubling ticket prices does little to increase team revenue, as ticket sales are split around the league. Increasing box prices would increase the revenues though.

Really promising to see him do that without Quinn or Krebs on his line supporting him.

The past couple games, Dahlin has made some savvy plays on defense, thinking about the takeaway/flip out to Thompson for a goal against the Devils, and a nice physical play against Barzal that I don’t think many if any of our other D could make. He still needs to be more consistent, but the ability is there.

Yeah, I think I’d prefer Girgs moving to center Okposo and Murray, and then move Krebs to Asplund and Oloffson. Ruotsalainen has done nothing for me out there.

Don’t really have much idea what’s up with him, but 3 points in 17 college games does not look good for a forward. What’s up with him?

KO suffered from multiple concussions during the dip in his play, including one that was life threatening. Not sure there’s much of a reason for Skinners lack of production the last few years, while Okposo’s can be at least partially explained.

Subban stats on the season: 2 games, .879 save percentage, 4.79 gaa. Anderson stats on the season: 6 games, .921 save percentage 2.50 gaa. Both of these sample sizes are too small to mean much, but I’d much rather have Anderson in net than Subban at this point. I do want to see a lot more of UPL though.

Brighter than it was a few weeks ago? Sure. A bright spot? Not yet.

For me the issue lies in the total value for the organization. If we are paying high value for a LHD, and playing him on his off side, he is likely going to play worse than he would on the left defense. We’d be paying the price of the LD player, which would be an overpay for the value he brings on the right side. If we were to keep him on the left, then we’d have to shift another player over, let’s say Dahlin for this example. We’d be paying fair value for the LD, but then also make Dahlin play worse, which means the value of the trade likely isn’t there for us.

Even then, with a Samuellson or Johnson trade, it had better be a rhd. Dahlin and Power should hold down the top 2 LHD spots of the future, and whichever of those two prospects left should slot in nicely on the third pair. And if they don’t, Bryson is not a bad option for 3rd pair.

What does help his case though, is his running has been better (outside of TDs) averaging almost 2 more yards per attempt.

He didn’t win MVP last year, and pretty much all of those stats are slightly worse. 3% worse completion percentage, less yards on more attempts, worse td%, higher int%.

With Anderson coming back soon, I wonder what KA will do with the goalie situation. Keep 3 up? Unlikely. Send Subban down? Maybe, but last game was a very good one, and he might deserve another game after that. Send UPL down? Maybe, but it’s a little hard to justify that as he’s been playing great. In any case, this is a much better problem to have with our goalietenders than a few weeks ago.

I don’t really think the Sabres should trade for him, but he is also also averaging almost 25 minutes a game, on the worst team in the league. The coyotes have a -53 goal differential, with the least goals for in the league. Makes a lot of sense that he has a terrible +\-
