Biggest reason you give up that much is because he is signed for 3 more years after this years at a very team friendly AAV of $4.3 million.

I would give up Rosen, 24' 2nd rd, and 25' 1st rd for Lawson Crouse.

UPL should get 2 year extension in the $2.75 million range. Give him another 2 years to see what he candors in the long run. Have Levi in Rochelles the rest of this yearend all of next year. Bring in a guy like DeSmith to be the back up for one year. Revaluate the goalies after the 24-25 season.

Zach MacEwen just placed on waivers by Sens...he likes to goto the net and hit anything on skates. He is the type of player needed on this team to play 10-12 minutes on the 4th line and be able to stand up for young guys when other teams start running around

My thoughts exactly...so a high stick is only if it above your waist. So if a player is down on the ice to block a shot, you can just whack him across the face?? You still have to be in control of your stick..blatant penalty that goes uncalled against the Sabres...I don't care if the PP has been horrible, you still have total that penalty.

I would moving on from Ganato in the off-season. Try to bring Peca in as head coach. Great motivator and willing to show passion and desire to win. Surround him with experienced assistants who know hoot coach. Also make a shake up type of move to show players they have to play hard every night. Move Mule, Cozens, or Joker. Need a couple of grinders for the 4th line that can show the young guys it takes max effort every night, every shift.
