I think we're really going to like this guy and if Granato is really a developmental guy, get this guy to hit everything that moves.

I love this pickup and was hoping we would land him. Big bodied defensive forward who likes to play physical. He wont show up on the score board but he's exactly what we need right now. Teach these youngins how to play a better defensive game.

I've been saying his name a bit lately, I read he was available for the right price. 6'5" solid defensively, not much offense but we need to start playing better defensively, I'd also hope they look at a player like Jordan Greenway.

It's been so long I forgot how many seasons ago it was.

I can see why fans are upset since we haven't made the playoffs since Tim Connolly was still with the Sabres 12 seasons ago. We could have definitely helped ourselves before the deadline tomorrow with this player or that but who knows what teams were asking from us or maybe KA just didn't like said players. I'm expecting either nothing or something low level from us tomorrow so if nothing happens, something small or something big I wont be too high or too low. I do think it's wise to hold tight at this point since like other posters have said, if we go after a bunch of players and we end up missing the playoffs then it's a double edged sword imo. I do though think we should at the very least be sellers at the deadline, it doesn't have to be major but is Victor Olofsson, Casey Mittlestadt, Kyle Okposo or Craig Anderson part of our future? If not maybe unloading them and trading picks at the trade deadline for actual players may also present itself to us.

If we don't get some actual defensemen unlike these Jokiharu's and brysons it wont matter who we have in net.

He doen't pull the goalie in the CBJ game until 1 minute left here he pulls goalie with 5 minutes left.

this team can't even get out of they're own zone with 1 more player than the other team.

I'm obviously definitely in the minority here but I'm relieved we didn't get Chychrun besides the last name spelling he has not played a full season once in his career. There are guys out there who could bump Jokiharu down imo.

I'm good with this, I was never a fan of him. Alot of hype for a guy who has yet to complete a full season of hockey. The most games he's played was 68 games in 2017.

We've got this under control, trust us....

I definitely think we should make some smart trades, giving up our 1st for some rentals is no bueno but we have lower picks and I'd love some big bodies like Jordan Greenway (MIN), Nick Ritchie (ANA) or D Carson Soucy (SEA) also a Goalie like Korpisalo makes too much sense. If it means making the playoffs and gaining much needed playoff experience for these young guys it will be worth spending a few picks on them.

Why wouldn't we pull Anderson with 2;20 left when they iced it?
