How many cups did we win or even get to with Miller? This seems desperate imo but by the looks of it I'm not the majority.

I just hope it's as great of a series as the hype around it.

Im all for free draft picks, I truly don't believe the Sabres are going to do anything big this off-season. I know most fans are going to hate it but I think it will be another year for the kids to grow, we'll add Quinn, possibly Peterka, UPL to the lineup. Probably overpay for a defensemen on a 3-4 year deal, Just my opinions. Let these guys all gel and form a nice young core then add to the core next off-season. If nothing else a goalie upgrade needs to happen, not sure how the Sabres will pull it off or if they can but it will be interesting to see what they do there or do we just bring back Anderson.

I think it would be a mistake keeping the exact same roster, first off although there was cohesion between this group they also were playing knowing nothing was at stake, will there be cohesion when the playoffs are on the line. I'd like to see upgrades over Vinny Hinostroza, Casey Middlestadt, Jacob Bryson and Craig Anderson. Also we will need to fill in Colin Miller's spot, will Victor Olofsson want to come back? Now if that means upgrading through FA, trades or just adding Quinn, Peterka to the lineup. These are just my opinions, I realize not everyone agrees.

It will be easy to get to the cap floor imo. We need upgrades over Colin Miller, Jacob Bryson, Vinny Hinostroza, Craig Anderson and I'll even throw in Casey Middlestadt. We will most likely re-sign Victor Olofsson and most likely have to overpay for all of their services, goaltender especially. Quinn could possibly take Hinostroza's spot at wing but I'd say we need the rest in FA. Im also realistic, thinking Marc Andre Fleury, Kris Letang, Darcy Keumpfer or players of that caliber will come here are a pipe dream.

I use them both frequently. The only annoying thing so far is that you have people telling you they'll be there and they either never show or call and change their minds. I haven't had a bad experience yet but on Facebook marketplace you can check people's ratings to somewhat get a clue if they are serious or not.

I truly believe both Levi and Portillo returning to college put a huge wrench in GM KA plans, no doubt in my mind. I don't see a top notch goalie coming here unless we severely overpay them and even then I'm not sure. My guess is they bring back Anderson and sign a guy like Joonas Korpisalo or Alexandar Georgiev. Seriously what legit goalie is signing with Buffalo, those guys are chasing cups.

They didn't ruin it for me at all. I was highly entertained throughout but that's my opinion, can I ask where you thought the refs ruined the outcome of this game?

Sucks I was rooting for the Pens to win it all, now I'm lost, I guess I'll go with the Hurricanes now. I think the Rangers got extremely lucky with the Pens losing Jarry for a month, then Crosby going out for the game and a half plus Rackell was gone for 3 games due to the concussion. I feel like the Canes will obliterate them, Shesterkan was unreal in regular season but was just good in this series imo.

Thanks for that, I never know where to find info on the international players as far as when they can become eligible for Rochester. Also not sure why people are going crazy over his weight, Johnny Gaudreau is 5'9" 150 lbs., If he's anything like that dude I'm good with that. 😎

#9 I'm hoping for RW Joakim Kemell, he isn't huge at 5'11" 176 lbs. by any means but he is very scrappy, plays at a high energy and is a relentless shooter. at #16 Cutter Gauthier would be another excellent addition, decent size at 6'2" 190 lbs., he isn't a power forward yet but I think he could easily turn into 1 down the road, just sucks he's another one that is at Boston College, that always makes me wonder if the kid will sign or go somewhere else.

So we could potentially lose Levi, Portillo and Johnson? That's brutal.

Those are all fair points and questions. I still feel that even though we had a good run there we're going to have a very difficult time getting a top notch goalie here. I hope I'm wrong and that you're right about opposing teams are seeing a culture shift here. Another problem I have assessing this Sabres team is Granato basically gave players the freedom to do what they wanted knowing this season is over (It was said in many interviews after games). I want to see how this team plays when there is something on the line, it was great to see them change the culture towards the end now I want to see a run at the playoffs. I didn't have the Sabres making the playoffs this season but I think with a few additions that I mentioned it's quite possible and it really will depend on our goalie situation.

Unfortunately when you start poaching other teams RFA, they will do the same to us at the most inconvenient time when a bunch of are young players become RFA, if KA is good with that then he should use every avenue possible to better this team imo.

The Rangers would be in serious trouble if the Pens didn't have goalie issues imo.

I like as much as anyone that we had a couple of months of solid hockey but I don't think it makes up for the decade plus of being mediocre do you? You think a Keumpfer or somebody like that coming from a top notch playoff team wants to come to a team that hasnt made the playoffs in the most consecutive years ? Also Levi and Portillo might not even sign here. I also said we may not re-sign Olofsson as in he may not want to re-sign or he might be asking for more than what we think he is worth etc. , Odds are he'll re-sign but I was just saying things can turn sour fast. Im not trying to be a debbie downer but I'm trying to be realistic. We have to spend 22M to reach the cap floor so I'd really like to spend it wisely, if Dahlin is going to transition to RHD we still need a solid RHD to take the vacancy of Colin Miller. Hopefully and upgrade over Hinostroza at Wing and a goalie, even if Portillo and Levi sign next season they'll be headed to the Amerks, I doubt they bypass the AHL and go straight to NHL so that's at least 2 years before they arrive.
