What I don't get and I've been saying this since the Chiefs were beat down by the Bucs. If this is a copycat league why aren't teams loading up on defense, especially the Bills/every team in theChiefs division? It never makes sense to me.

Both Forsberg and O'Reilly untouched in front of the net. Do they even practice during the week? This isn't even about being young anymore, how do you not know to tie up the players in front of your own net?

I don't think this is rushing the player, more like where is he in his development and no better way to see than in game action right? There is no pressure for him, we're out of contention and the season is basically over.

I agree but that person isn't currently on our roster and it doesn't look like Adams is in any hurry to find that so I'd rather see what he can do.

Does it hinder his development to bring him up for a few games? If so, how?

I'm 100% on board bringing up Novikov to see what he has to offer. +42 in 2 seasons, putting up decent points and from what I can see in a few very pixelated highlights he looks like he's at least becoming sound defensively but this GM will probably never bring this guy up since it makes too much sense.

Time for changes would have made sense when they lost 3-4 games in a row not when they need a miracle run at the end of the season it's more of the same with this bottom feeding franchise and it's more astonishing that people buy this charade still after going on 14 losing seasons.

I didn't like the Granato hire since to me it was a cheap, safe hire. I didn't like the Ruff hire because it seemed like a moved just to get people to come back to the building instead of finding the right guy for the job imo. Why would anyone take this job knowing you can't even pick your staff? Why would you want to keep the exact same guys who weren't that good the previous 3-4 years? It's mind boggling when you think about how poorly this organization is run.

If we all know he’s not worth the contract I’m pretty sure all GMs around the league do also. That contract is most likely a buyout and I doubt Pegula would agree to that imo.

So if 93 points is where we need to get in the playoffs we would need to win 22 games out of the remaining 29 games left not to be a buzz kill.

I hope we re-sign Reimer, he's a solid backup. It was a solid all around win to make it 4 in a row. Just makes you think if we even cut that losing streak we had earlier in the year in half we would be in playoff contention at the very least.

The fact that they had to take a day off to address sticking up for your teammates says it all. This shouldn’t need to be addressed it should be natural but nothing about this team is natural imo.
