Man, I know times are rough after 13 seasons of no playoffs but I couldn't imagine being a fan and dedicated to something only to have it taken from me, it's got to be a brutal feeling that I hope we as fans never have to feel. He said it perfectly though, can we get this guy as our play by play? He already likes an ex Sabre player.

I can't even imagine how fun it must be to be a Tampa Bay Lightning fan, the Stanley Cups, players with 100 assists in a season. While we watch guys doing locker clean outs spewing that we need to practice harder.

Krebs does nothing for me, I don't see any value he would have to us or another club. He tried being that grittier type of player but he just isn't that guy imo, I see him usually getting destroyed in corners trying to get to the puck and doesn't cotrol the puck long enough. He isn't very skilled as far as a goal scorer either, he's just very meh to me, I've been saying pretty much since the season started we need an upgrade over him.

I think if you integrate those types of players with the players we have now it will be enough because I don't see guys like Tuch/Thompson/Greenway physcially dominated but I would like to see a rugged defensive defensemen added with Power/Dahlin and Byram, someone whose very good defensively but can also make you pay for even looking at our goalie, I'm not sure who that guy would be.

I'm 1 of the people on here that's been super critical of Adams and his tenure here, that being said his press conference was 1 of the most honest I've ever heard on any sports platforms. He never once seemed like he was saying anything in the presser that he doesn't actually feel or believe whether that's good or bad. We still haven't had the results and he's handled a bunch of the roster moves imo wrong but the fact that he not only owns it but says we need to be a team that people hate to play, we need to be more abrasive is pretty much word for word what I and others have preached for some time and him calling out the "but we're a young team" BS excuse was also put to bed which it should be. I truly hope Adams makes the right move here because if he doesn't he's definitely gone. I love that he wants an "experienced" head coach, I truly don't think it will be Ruff, I don't think there is enough playoff winning under him plus 0 Stanley Cups imo. I also think this has to be a desirable situation for alot of unemployed head coaches.

This is the exact opposite of what I'm looking for, this to me would show that they couldn't care less about winning NHL games, this would be nothing more than to get fans in seats to make Pegula money, nothing more and nothing less. Ruff has failed at evey gig he was given since being let go as the HC of the Buffalo Sabres and most notably with a young team like us in the new Jersey Devils. For me to take this organization seriously it has to hire a proven winning head coach, I don't care what it costs, I don't care who has to sell their soul to get him here but there are only 32 HC gigs in the NHL, I'm sure you can find someone whether that's Brindamour, Berube, Gallant or another then you go out and get said coach. If he's a winner than you don't have to worry about his assistants because he'll pick people who he thinks will help him win once again. I want to have our owner live up to that Stanley Cup hype train when he 1st got here, drill another well Terry and get a proven winner here so you can have 2 franchises who adore you and are filling up the seats.

They did the right thing here now go get a proven winner, I don't care if Dan Byslma didn't work out in the past, you keep trying with those and eventually by accident we'll get it right. Lindy Ruff would be more of the same ol same ol, it makes no sense.

4 years under his watch and 0 playoffs, Lindy Ruff was just fired in his 4th season for only making the playoffs once and we give our GM going on 5 years.

He's everything i want this team to be, get all Bensons on the team, he blocks, sticks up for teammates, goes straight to the front of the net, shoots and will probably be our leading scorer very soon.
