WE WIN!!!! Peterka for me is our superstar, McLeod is really growing on me also, he always seems noticeable in a good way. Malenstyn is a breathe of fresh air and for me I'd like to see a few more of his types along with 1 legit fighter. UPL was also really good in net tonight and was looking like himself even after that bad 2nd goal he let in or maybe the first I don't remember but it was 1 softee but other than that he was lights out.

Unfortunately the Sabres clearly need to make moves but i don't want Adams to have any part of that. We need a legit GM from a winning organization that knows what it looks like to win. Someone from Colorado, Dallas, Boston, that can identify what is wrong and fix said parts.

We're about to see it this year I think.

Adams has to make a big trade to send the message either Cozens, Quinn or Power. My guy would be Power, I don't think he does anything well to be honest.

Power again is just standing there like a statue. If we don't bench some of these guys we will lose the season quickly.

We've preached accountability all offseason from the coaches to the players, if this is true we should see Dylan Cozens benched and Kulich get the opportunity at 2nd or 3rd line C tonight correct? Otherwise I feel like we are on the exact same trajectory as last season coaching-wise.

I just don't like the construction of this team, many are over 6'0" which i like but they don't use their size at all to their advantage. I mean Power should be tossing kids across the arena who come to the net but that's not him but that's the guy we need. I think we need to trade some of these guys (Cozens/Power) come to mind. What happened to Quinn? Our special teams is absolutely abysmal.

I wish he was replaced by a new player.

I liked him even in Minnesota so I'm all for keeping him, he has a solid all around game imo and should easily get give us 10-15 goals per season.

It has to be talent at this point, how many missed shots on net did Tage and Tuch miss yesterday? all last season? It continues to be the same problems so I'm sticking to my guns and saying that Thompson and Tuch are asked to carry us as top liners but are probably more suited as 2nd line complimentary players. Cozens looks like part of the problem also, he just looks completely lost at this pont and I'm not sure he's salvageable. I don't think it's as easy as just sayin "let's fix the power play" and everything will be fine, I feel like it's deeper than that which brings me back to talent on the roster and how we may have overestimated it. I hope I'm wrong but Dahlin also, he continues to suck in big moments with yet another giveaway and again a part of the problem. Even UPL looked good but not the UPL of last year yet standing on his head. If it's not talent what can it possibly be at this point?
